Den gibt es jetzt ab sofort auch von Brekina im Maßstab 1:87 aber das Team aus dem Schwarzwald hat sich für die spätere, Fastback genannte, Version entschieden. Danke nach Lüdenscheid und Teningen dass wir da keine Doppelentwicklung bekommen haben. Bei Rietze sind die Neuheiten für die ersten beiden Monate des Jahres 2019 bekannt und Busch hat wieder einiges geliefert. In Kürze kommen dann auch die letzten Wiking Neuheiten des Jahres zur Auslieferung, wir zeigen sie alle in Bild und Text. Last year’s race in Baku was widely recognised as the most exciting and dramatic race of the year – if not the decade – by members of the media, teams, drivers and the global F1 fanbase alike. It truly was a race that had it all culminating in the most unexpected podium line up in many years. The fact that this historic race occurred under our new event title as the FORMULA 1 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX filled us with an even greater sense of pride and satisfaction for a job well done. This year we once again welcome the world to Baku at the slightly earlier date of late April to bear witness to the awe-inspiring sight of F1 cars negotiating one of the fastest and most testing circuits in Formula 1. Baku City Circuit’s winding, narrow sequences, 90-degree turns and high-speed straights - all set against the breath- taking backdrop of Baku’s UNESCO-protected old city, magnificent skylines and beautiful seaside promenade - have proven to be a major challenge to the current F1 grid, resulting in last year’s spectacular outcome and many on-track altercations.     The ex Teddy Yip, Theodore Racing, Macau ACP winning 1970 Porsche 911S 2.2 RHD 911 030 1272 This RHD matching numbers - original engine and gearbox – 1970 911S has an impressive period competition history and has been extensively restored by Porsche specialists, the car is UK registered, taxed and MoT’d. Manufactured by Porsche Stuttgart in 1970 and supplied new via the Hong Kong Porsche importer Jebsen & Co Motors to the Macau Grand Prix’s most famous character Teddy Yip, founder of the Theodore Racing team. Finished in Tangerine with Black interior. The car was collected from Porsche in Stuttgart by Herbert Adamczyk of Jebson Motors who, with his girlfriend, drove it around Europe for two months to run the engine in prior to the car being raced by Teddy Yip at the Macau Grand Prix in November. Once in Hong Kong it was carefully prepared for racing by Jebsen Motors and entered in the Macau GP meeting by Teddy Yip’s Theodore Racing Team. Driven by Yip’s racing partner Dr Henry Lee the car finished 1st overall in the ACP Final. In the early ‘70s the car was raced in Malaysia while Theodore Racing clocked up a record six further victories in the Macau Grand Prix with drivers including World Champions Ayrton Senna, Alan Jones and Keke Rosberg before moving on to Formula One. The 911S was first registered for road use in Hong Kong on the 2nd March 1972 by Yip but he was not persuaded to part company with the car until the mid-nineties whereupon it was shipped to the UK for specialist restoration.
