Shane is the most successful basketballer to come out of Australia with 15 seasons in the NBL Shane played for Brisbane Bullets, Geelong Supercats, Gold Coast Blaze & Captain of the Sydney Kings first ever Championship. Also captaining the Australian Boomers at 4 Olympic Games. Joey has had an amazing career in the USA and was the former Brisbane Bullets coach, but is now on the Gold Coast coaching the Blazes. Haley Bateup V’s Belinda Gavin Haley Bateup is one of the Gold Coast’s most talented ironwoman, having won the Coolangatta Gold twice (2005 & 2006) plus numerous ironwoman titles. Plus being on Australian Gladiators she knows all about a battle. Her opponent is the lovely Belinda Gavin who is a former Bull Riding Champion and contestant on American Gladiator, Belinda is also a fierce competitor, with an interesting side of appearing in numerous adult films. Both these girls now how to entertain Boxing Schedule Charity Bouts Daniel Meers V’s Simon Baggs Local Gold Coast Bulletin sports reporter Daniel Meers with take on the loveable 90.9 Sea FM rouge Simon Baggs (Baggs). Daniel will now put down the pen & put on the boxing gloves. The funny ‘Baggs’ will join Daniel in the ring let’s see how he goes when there's no making jokes. Both men have taken to this challenge with great enthusiasm, they have been training every day, & I think they are enjoying themselves, we will see on the night. Adam Hollioake V’s Mat Hanrahan Adam Holloaike is former English cricketer who played only 4 Test matches, but was much more suited to the One Day International games which he played 35 matches & captained the English side for 14 matches. Returning to Australia after his cricket career he lives on the Gold Coast & started Australia’s Greatest Athlete challenge, plus the charity Cricket Challenge & Battle of the Stars Golf Day. Mat is the Director of Sales for Southcoast Automotive Group he has happily taken on this challenge. Sarah Godfrey V’s Hannah Lindgren Two gorgeous models taking on a boxing challenge for charity. Sarah was a semi finalist in the Miss Universe Australia, she was also on the current season of ‘A Farmer Wants A Wife’ but unfortunately she didn’t find love. Hannah was a Miss V8 Finalist and has competed in numerous modelling events. Boxing Schedule Professional Bouts Queensland Heavyweight Title John Szigeti V’s Anthony Fowler Former basketballer John Szigeti (8 wins, 2 losses) had a disappointing loss in February against hard hitting Lucas Brown, but back in training John is still determined to win the Queensland Title. His opponent Anthony Fowler former State NRL footballer & fire fighter (2 wins, 2 losses), is the only thing standing in his way of achieving his goal. Rohan Murdock V’s Sonny Hannath Local Rohan Murdock won his professional debut, he is an exciting new fighter on the scene who is committed to his sport, his opponent Sonny will be making his professional debut. Nadine Brown V’s Sherri Stewart Nadine had her professional debut in February on Foxsports with her first victory, she is keen to continue her goal of Worlds Women's Champion.
