When you couple those forces with the challenges posed by changing media consumption habits, understanding how to communicate effectively with voters is crucial,” said Pete Brodnitz, Expedition Strategies President and CEO. “We are excited to offer Democratic campaigns in the U.S. and throughout the world polling that is grounded in communications research and behavioral psychology. Our research is tailor-made to drive the development of effective campaign messages. Expedition Strategies acts as a partner in the campaigns we serve so we can help leaders achieve their governing and political goals.” Prior to opening Expedition, Mr. Brodnitz was a Partner at Benenson Strategy Group where his clients included almost all of the firm’s political candidate clients, including thirteen heads of State and government worldwide, senators, governors, members of Congress, state legislators and local elected leaders. Mr. Brodnitz was awarded the American Association of Political Consultants’ Pollster of the Year award for his work devising the suburban-based strategic roadmap that helped elect Governor Tim Kaine (VA) in 2005 and Senator Jim Webb (VA) in 2006 and turned Virginia from politically Red to Purple. Expedition is off to a strong start President Medina of the Dominican Republican just won re-election by the largest margin in the history of his country. The President was able to create a strong economy and to effectively communicate to the public how his approach was benefitting the people. 1 Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon just won 83% of the vote in his Democratic primary. While victory was never in question, his ultimate margin was a convincing vote of confidence in the senator’s work for the people of Oregon in a year where incumbency is not particularly valued. And Expedition’s recent poll for former Congressman Joe Garcia’s comeback effort was highlighted in two favorable articles in Politico and the Miami Herald. From the Miami Herald: “Rival Polls Show Joe Garcia Leading Democratic Primary For Swing Miami Congressional Seat” From Politico Florida: “In Rival Polls, Garcia Still Leads Taddeo” Expedition Strategies is a full-service strategic polling and consulting firm working for Democratic candidates and advocacy groups in the U.S. and around the world including: President Danilo Medina of the Dominican Republic President Santos of Colombia Senator Mazie Hirono (HI) Senator Tim Kaine (VA) Senator Jeff Merkley (OR) Senator Ron Wyden (OR) Governor Gina Raimondo (RI) Congressman Adam Smith (WA), Congressman Tim Walz (MN) House Majority PAC Democratic Governors Association Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee NDN Progressive Policy Institute (PPI) Third Way For more information about Expedition, please contact us at [email protected] ### 2 .
