Again, began to teach by the lake. The crowd that gathered around him was so large that he got into a boat and sat in it out on the lake. (Mark 4:1)

That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” (Mark 4:35)

When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an impure spirit came from the tombs to meet him. (:2)

When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him. (Mark 5:6)

When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. (Mark 5:15)

Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region. As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” So, the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed. (Mark 5:17-20)

Jesus doesn’t choose sides, he crosses them.

When it comes to miracles, I don’t want to miss or dismiss them. Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region. (Mark 5:17)

If the Lord has redeemed you, then say so. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. (Psalm 107:2)

So, the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed. (Mark 5:20)
