RELEASE NOTES Solarwinds N-central Version 11.1 HF2 Last Updated: Thursday, December 7, 2017 Release Notes: Solarwinds N-central page 2 Release Notes: Solarwinds N-central Upgrade paths and notes To upgrade to 11.1 HF2, your Solarwinds N-central server must be running one of the following versions: n Solarwinds N-central 11.0.0.1079-1110 n Solarwinds N-central 11.0.1.985-1100 n Solarwinds N-central 11.1.0.647+ Note the following when upgrading Solarwinds N-central. Existing CentOS/RHEL Linux agents will not upgrade to Solarwinds N-central 11.1 HF2, as there are no changes to the agent in this release. Agents currently on unsupported Operating Systems such as XP and 2003, will not upgrade but will remain functional. Scheduled Tasks may expire if the Agent on an associated device is being upgraded when the task is scheduled to be completed. Agent upgrades are normally short in duration but may be delayed if a re- start of the device is pending. Backup Manager D2D does not support Windows 10. Patch events can now be scheduled in Maintenance windows for added flexibility and increased control. Please note the following: n When upgrading from release 10.1 or earlier, any scheduling currently done through Patch Profiles are transitioned into Maintenance Windows automatically. If you had applied your profile using a Rule, the windows will be created in that Rule and distributed accordingly. If you have applied a Patch Profile manually, the windows will be created at the device level. n If you have accidentally targeted two or more Patch Profiles at a given device you will find multiple patch windows applied to your devices. To avoid this, review your Patch Profile distribution before upgrading. If your upgrade results in device level Patch windows being applied to some devices, they can be cleared along with all other device level Maintenance Windows from the All Devices view under Add Task > Maintenance > Clear Device Level Maintenance Windows. page 3 Release Notes: Solarwinds N-central Fixed Issues in Solarwinds N-central 11.1 HF2 CATEGORY DESCRIPTION BUG Core Struts Vulnerability CVE-2017-15707 NCCF-6897 page 4 Release Notes: Solarwinds N-central Fixed Issues in Solarwinds N-central 11.1 HF1 CATEGORY DESCRIPTION BUG Patch An issue causing ConnectWise Integrations to fail when large company NPSA- Management lists are involved has now been corrected. 1663 Patch An issue blocking the ablity to locate or load Customer Mappings for NPSA- Management ConnectWise integrations as a result of "Anjnual renevenue" field failing 1628 has now been corrected.
