From the Principal….. Upcoming Events

Hi everyone, Term Two

I hope everyone had a great mid-term break. Last week June th we had a visit from the Principal of Cobar Public School. 9 – Queen’s Birthday Holiday Mr Harvey brought some of his snakes and lizards for 11th – Regional Cross Country us to look at. Some of the students even held the 13th – Mobile @ Enngonia 10am-1pm snakes! 16th – ICAS Writing Test Students in 3-6 attend CWA public speaking in Bourke. 17th – ICAS Spelling Test All students should be commended for their excellent 17th – P&C Meeting 3.15pm attitude and behaviour on the day. th Last week we also had district cross- country and I 18 – Southern Highlands Christian School Visit rd would like to commend all students on their excellent 23 – Playgroup 10.30am-12.30pm th behaviour and attitude. This week we say goodbye to Mr Introna who is heading back home. Thank you for coming to our Tuesday school and being a part of our school community.

This week a letter has been sent home stating that data Morning Tea $2 is being collected about students with disabilities in our  school. If you do not want your child to be included Packet Biscuits please return the form, otherwise they will be counted. (shapes/tiny teddies)

My student of the Week this week is Shayde Edwards.  Milo Shayde receives this award for showing confidence and maturity at both the CWA public speaking and the cross Lunch $5 country carnival. Preschool Reminder Please remember to send a water bottle with your child This week in pre-school we have been each day as it still gets quite focusing on trains. The children have been warm. watching clips on You tube of different types of trains, playing with the Duplo train set, pretending to be trains and making their own trains.

They have also enjoyed doing sensory painting.
