While stating this here today, an oﬃcial spokesman said that Finance Minister Mr. H.S. Chatha would preside over the monthly meeting of District Public Relations and Grievances Committee at Ambala; Industries Minister Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala at Karnal; Education Minister Mrs. Geeta Bhukkal at Mahendergarh; Power Minister Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav at Mewat; Public Health Engineering Minister, Mrs. Kiran Choudhry at Hisar; Revenue Minister, Mahender Pratap Singh at Palwal; Agriculture Minister Mr. Paramvir Singh at Sirsa; Cooperation Minister Mr. Satpal Sangwan at Jind and Health Minister Rao Narender Singh at Rohtak. He said that Minister of State for Labour and Employment Pt. Shiv Charan Lal Sharma would preside over the meeting of District Public Relations and Grievances Committee at Rewari and Minister of State for Sports and Youth Aﬀairs, Mr. Sukhbir Kataria at Bhiwani. A tragic incident took place on 31st March, 2005. A tragic incident took place on 31st march, 2005 when Shri O.P. Jindal, Power Minister and Shri Surender Singh, Agriculture Minister died in the chopper crash at Gurgaon, near Saharanpur (U.P.). The Bye-election on 3 vacant seats i.e. hisar, Tosham and Kiloi (Shri Krishan Hooda resigned on 05.04.2005) was held on 2nd June, 2005 in which Smt. Savitri Jindal (wife of Shri O.P. Jindal), Smt. Kiran Choudhari (wife of Shri Surender Singh) and Ch. Bhupinder Singh Hooda were elected from Hisar, Tosham and Kiloi constituencies, respectively, Sardar Harmonhinder Singh Chatha was elected Speaker of the Assembly unanimously on 21st March, 2005 and resigned from the office of Speaker on 12th January, 2006. On 13th January, 2006, Dr. raghuvir Singh Kadian was elected as Speaker of the Assembly, unanimously. The long existing party oriented politics is facing the stiff competition from personality-oriented politics. The same situation we see in Gurgaon parliamentary constituency in Haryana. Here sitting congress MP Stalwart Rao Inderjeet is contesting on a BJP ticket. He is very famous and a leader of high stature. In a country where the word politician is akin to abuse, he is one of the rare few that command respect. Unlike other politicians, people vote for him, and praise him because of his work. This time the huge traction towards BJP's candidate Rao Inderjeet is not just based on Congress' misgovernance in the state but also because of his personality. His style of functioning as a down-to-earth organisational man will enable him to override not only anti-incumbency but also factionalism. EDITORIAL he BJP Government led by Shri Narendra Modi has completed a year in Government. For coming to power there was a launch of a media blitzkrieg and no sops were spared to show the future as the brightest if they were to be elected to power. The Slogan of the election was that Shri Modi will bring Acche Din for all in the country. At Tthe conclusion of the first year people have realized that the Acche Din were for Mr. Modi and the BJP, the country was never in consideration. On every claim of Shri Modi there has been a ‘U’ turn. Since the PM is on a foreign tour there is a need to remind the PM about the U turns in the foreign policy. The Foreign policy lessons being taught while in opposition of ‘how dare they’ was abandoned both against China and Pakistan. While Shri Modi was enjoying the swing with the Chinese leadership in Ahmedabad the Chinese forces made encroachments and captured a portion of our borders. On his this trip the map of India was shown truncated with Kashmir and Arunachal not as parts of India. The blow hot blow cold relations with Pakistan are self evident. The talks with Pakistan were called off since Hurriyat leaders met the Pak High Commissioner. A usual practice! The Home Minister on the floor of the House said that there is no proof of Dawood being in Pakistan. During elections this was an election promise to bring him back from Pakistan. The whole country was embarrassed.
