Admission - Those who are considered to have equivalent education according to the related Elementary and Secondary Education Act (1st-year) - Applicants who meet all the freshmen admission requirements listed above and one of the following requirements: 1) Completed(or will complete by August 2020. at least 1 full academic year (more than 2 semesters) at a 4-year university in Transfer Korea or overseas (seasonal semesters not counted) Admission ※ Applicants from an overseas university must have acquired (or will acquire by August 2020) more than one quarter of Academic (2nd-year) Background the credits required for the graduation.(evidential document must be submitted) Requirements 2) Graduated or expected to graduate by August 2020 from 2 or 3-year college in Korea or overseas. - Applicants who meet all the freshmen admission requirements listed above and one of the following requirements: 1) Completed(or will complete by August 2020) at least 2 full academic years(more than 4 semesters) at a 4-year university Transfer in Korea or overseas (seasonal semesters not counted) Admission ※ Applicants from overseas university must acquire (or will acquire by August 2020 more than half of the credits required (3rd-year) for the graduation. (evidential document must be submitted) 2) Graduated or expected to graduate by August 2020 from 2 or 3-year college in Korea or overseas. Applicants must have Korean Proficiency Test (TOPIK) Level 4 or above. For ones who don’t submit Korean Proficiency test(TOPIK) score(Level 4 or above) certificate by June 25th, 2020, application for alternative online test(web-based) for TOPIK is available. 1) Test Date : July 2nd, 2020(Thu) 15:00 ~ 2) Test Methods • The link for the test will be sent to applicants via email. Applicants need to access the web-site and register their personal information in order to take the test. • Applicants must achieve 70 out of 100 for each step to pass each level. When they pass the level, taking a higher level is cceptable. Language (Please note it is not possible to re-take the test when they get lower than 70 out of 100.) Qualification • It is not permitted to re-take the test even if there are any technical problems occurred. 3) Ones, who pass Level 4 for Institute of International Language of Dongguk, are regarded that they pass the language qualification for admission. 4) Offline test must be taken during the fall semester. (Detail information will be given later.) • If there are huge differences between online test result and offline test result, university will verify proxy examination.→ Admission could be canceled. • For ones who submit TOPIK level 4 before the offline test, the test will be exempted. 5) In case ones don’t submit TOPIK level 4 after admission, visa extension will not be permitted. (One-year visa will be issued.) * Students who are already registered in Dongguk Seoul campus (status of enrolled, on leave of absence, expelled, dropout) cannot apply for the transfer admission of Seoul campus.
