PRESS RELEASE: Friday 12TH August, 2016 REMAKE OF SPICE GIRLS WANNABE VIDEO RELEASED IN CINEMAS FOLLOWING HUGELY SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH AT CANNES LIONS Friday 12th August, 2016, Sydney, Australia: September 2016 marks the first anniversary of world leaders adopting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and, this year, the focus will be on gender equality. A remake of Spice Girls’ Wannabe, entitled ‘#WhatIReallyReallyWant’, has been created by Project Everyone, the organization committed to driving mass awareness of the UN’s goals. It features actors, singers and dancers from around the world and has been edited to represent the voices of women worldwide, telling world leaders what they ‘really, really want’ in 2016. SAWA, the global cinema advertising association and its Global Cinema Advertising Companies, have generously supported the campaign within its ‘Power of Cinema to Drive Cultural Change’ seminar at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2016, by exclusively previewing the Global Goals advert to the Communications and Creative Industry. Since then, #WhatIReallyReallyWant has been launched organically online to huge success. It has been supported by a huge host of powerful voices and influencers including 3/5 of the original Spice Girls, Emma Watson, Richard Branson, Gal Galoot, Jacqueline Fernandez, Greg James, Tanya Burr, Jamie Oliver, Caitlin Moran and many more. PRESS RELEASE Victoria Beckham visits UNAIDS in Geneva to lend her support to the AIDS response ahead of World AIDS Day UNAIDS International Goodwill Ambassador urges people to test for HIV and to seek treatment if necessary GENEVA, 23 November 2018—A little over one week before World AIDS Day, UNAIDS International Goodwill Ambassador Victoria Beckham has visited the organization’s Geneva, Switzerland, headquarters to support calls for people to know their HIV status and to seek treatment for HIV if necessary. “I am really happy to be in Geneva to support UNAIDS in the run-up to World AIDS Day,” said Ms Beckham during her visit. “We need to make sure that people feel supported to take an HIV test by ending the stigma and discrimination still too often associated with the virus. Today, we have the medicines to keep people healthy and to stop the virus being transmitted. AIDS isn’t over yet, but it can be.” UNAIDS estimates that there were around 36.9 million people living with HIV worldwide in 2017, with around 21.7 million people accessing life-saving medicines that keep people alive and well and stop the transmission of the virus. However, UNAIDS also estimates that around one in four people worldwide continue to be unaware that they are living with HIV. During the visit, the UNAIDS Executive Director, Michel Sidibé, met with Ms Beckham to thank her for her support and to discuss the latest developments in the AIDS response. “We have made a lot of progress in expanding access to treatment, but the number of people who don’t know their HIV status is still far too high,” said Mr Sidibé. -

Bailiwick Broadcasting Ltd (Bailiwick) was established to apply for and, if successful, to operate the Channel Islands DAB digital radio multiplex. Bailiwick is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nation Broadcasting Ltd (Nation), the UK’s third largest operator of local radio licences. Nation owns, manages and is a shareholder in a number of multiplex licences across England, Scotland and Wales. Nation’s track record as investors in commercial and digital radio across the British Isles over 20 years, gives it the experience and credibility to offer a distinctive and attractive local multiplex proposal for the Channel Islands. As multiplex operators, Nation can demonstrate a track record of technical expertise and innovation, industry commitment and financial stability. We have considered carefully what is the most likely successful financial model for the Channel Islands and, by using our experience, contacts and interests, we have ensured a multiplex that enjoys affordable transmission and a strong line up of programme services. -

Tindle MuxCo Channel Islands 1. Tindle MuxCo Channel Islands Ltd (‘TMCI’) was created to establish local DAB digital radio in the Channel Islands, with shareholders who have significant analogue and digital radio experience through broadcasting and multiplex ownership – Tindle CI Broadcasting Ltd and Folder Media Ltd. 2. Tindle CI Broadcasting operates the popular and successful local heritage commercial services in the Channel Islands – Channel 103 and Island FM – which consistently report the highest percentage reach figures in the British Isles, whilst Folder Media has considerable experience as a multiplex operator and content producer, having established the Now Digital and MuxCo networks, and currently managing the MuxCo network as well as multiplexes owned by Wireless Group and Bauer Media. 3. Tindle CI Broadcasting and Folder Media have been developing plans to bring DAB to the Channel Islands since early 2018, initially undertaking research of radio listening habits and digital take-up across the islands, discussing opportunities with Ofcom, and then formally announcing its intention to apply in November 2018. 4. Our ethos is that digital radio should be available in a cost and operationally efficient manner to enable as many organisations as possible to broadcast. TMCI will offer both DAB and DAB+. We believe this is the best way to encourage more stations to join the platform and provide a compelling proposition for digital radio listeners. -

She comes across as thoughtful – or, as she puts it, ‘intense’ – when discussing world events and a more feminist future for Harper and her three boys, but I’m surprised by her easy rapport. -
