No other beverage has the ability to transport us halfway around the world; to a different continent where generations of the same family have worked the same plot of ground, on the same hillside, planted the same grape varietals and made their wines in the exact same way, for centuries. Or…to a place where a fresh outlook & new ideas merge with nature resulting in a wine that is exciting, radical & delicious. We feature a wide, ever changing array of these styles; unique wines that go with the food we cook. This list is organized in broad categories of wine color & flavor profile. The palate is expansive and the finish is dry and lipsmackingly good. One of the things I love about it is that it leaves on the lips, a fresh little lemony whisper which makes it a fabulous complement to simple fish dishes.” – Kermit Lynch DOMAINE DE REUILLY, 2016 SAUVIGNON BLANC, LOIRE VALLEY, FRANCE 15 38 100% SAUVIGNON BLANC. “Reuilly is an ancient winemaking village with Chablis-like soil full of chalk, fossils and sea shells. Try to imagine Sancerre grown at Chablis. The fruit is lively, with white flower perfumes, citrus and minerality. It has finesse and precision. The first impression on the palate, is of fresh, cushiony, Sancerre-like Sauvignon Blanc. Then, immediately, there is a firmness, a stony firmness that appears from within the wine. Let’s call it Terroir to the Rescue, because a wine with nothing but pure fruit seems banal.” – Kermit Lynch. We use for many by the glass pours, assuring you a perfect glass. featured in the Slow Wine Guide 2016. TAKE HOME YOUR UNFINISHED WINE - ask your server for details.
