She has taught and D performed at the most distinguished tap festivals in the country including The L.A. Tap Fest, DC Tap Fest, Motorcity Tap Fest, Chicago Human Rhythm A A Project's Rhythm World, Jazz City in New Orleans, and MADD Rhythms own Chicago Tap Summit . Internationally, she's taught and performed in Poland, N Japan, and Brazil several times. She's been featured in Dance Spirit Magazine twice (Artist on the rise & Speed Demon), The Chicago Reader, & independent N film "The Rise & Fall of Miss Thang" starring Dormeshia Sumbry Edwards. Outside of MADD Rhythms, she's performed as a guest with such companies as C Michelle Dorrance's Dorrance Dance, Chloe Arnold's Syncopated Ladies, Lane Alexander's Bam, and Jason Samuel Smith's ACGI. Continuing thru Intermediate 1:00pm – 2:30pm Intermediate/Advanced 2:30pm – 4:00pm Cesar Salinas ~ Mr. Salinas, originally from Portland, Oregon, is Artistic Programs Manager for Giordano Dance Chicago. He received a scholarship to Giordano Dance School in Chicago, IL, in 2004 and 2005. From 2006 until 2011, Cesar joined the Giordano Dance Chicago as a full company member performing throughout the United States and Europe. Cesar was honored to be on the cover of Dance Magazine (August 2007) and to teach at the Jazz Dance W World Congress in 2007, 2009, and 2012. Cesar toured the world with Royal Caribbean cruise lines as a performer in the Broadway production of Saturday W Night Fever as well as an aerialist. Cesar is a certified teacher in the Giordano Technique at the Basic, Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced, and Professional O Levels of the Nan Giordano Certification Program® (NGCP®). Most recently Cesar returned to the stage at the Auditorium Theatre to perform Gus O Giordano’s 1978 iconic solo Wings in honor of Nan Giordano’s 33 years at the helm and 25th Anniversary as Artistic Director for GDC. Lauren Warnecke of R R SeeChicagoDance wrote, “...you could almost imagine Gus himself up there performing the piece he made 40 years ago.” K ►Sunday, March 10, 2019 ~ B A L L E T with Greg Begley Location: Jo’s Footwork Studio (JO’S) K S Continuing thru Intermediate 1:00pm – 2:30pm Intermediate/Advanced 2:30pm – 4:00pm S Greg Begley ~ had four successful years performing and touring as a soloist with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and received a bachelor of business degree on H H a full dance scholarship. Solicited by Ruth Page, Greg became a principal dancer with the Chicago Ballet, and was an audience favorite. By invitation, Greg O joined the Hubbard Street Dance Company, he is an original performer and was the company’s ballet master; successfully they toured throughout the United O States, Europe and South America. For many years, Greg has been a guest teacher for Chicago’s professional dance companies, and is on staff at several of the P professional schools in the area. Most recently, hosted by the Chinese Foreign Affairs Office, he traveled to China teaching in the cities of Beijing and P Suzhou, at the Guangxi Arts Institute in Nanning, and working with a performance group in Shanghai at the World Expo.
