ABSENT: Member Travais Johnson. CALL TO ORDER: Chair Murray called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: July 5, 2018, Athabasca Airport Agenda Resolution Moved by Member Haines that the agenda be adopted, as AP 18-15 amended, with the following additions: 6.3 - AAMA Seminar 6.4 - Runway Markings. Motion Carried. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes of the January 11, 2018, Athabasca Airport Committee Meeting Resolution Moved by Member Rawson that the minutes of the January 11, AP 18-16 2018, Athabasca Airport Committee be adopted as presented. Motion Carried. BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES: 2018 Fly-In BBQ Update Health Safety & Facilities Coordinator De Wet provided a brief update on final preparations for the 8th Annual Fly-In BBQ. Resolution Moved by Member Bilsky that the Fly-In BBQ update be accepted AP 18-17 as information. Motion Carried. CHAIR ADMINISTRATOR Page 3 of 49 AGENDA ITEM # 3.1 Athabasca Airport Committee Meeting Athabasca County July 05, 2018 - 9:30 AM Council Chambers FINANCIALS: June 15, 2018 Health Safety & Facilities Coordinator De Wet reviewed the financial report ending June 15, 2018, for all Members present. Resolution Moved by Member Rawson that the June 15, 2018, Financial AP 18-18 Report be accepted as information. Motion Carried. NEW BUSINESS: Airport Strategic Plan Update Health Safety & Facilities Coordinator De Wet provided an update on the completed items listed on the Airport Strategic Plan adopted by County Council in 2016. Resolution Moved by Member Woytovicz to accept the update on the Airport AP 18-19 Strategic Plan as information. Motion Carried. Fuel Sales and Movement Health Safety & Facilities Coordinator De Wet reviewed the report on fuel sales and landings statistics at Athabasca Airport for all Members present. Resolution Moved by Member Haines to accept the report on fuel sales and AP 18-20 landings as information. Motion Carried. AAMA Seminar Discussion ensued regarding the recent Alberta Airport Managers Association Seminar. Resolution Moved by Member Bilsky to accept the points of clarification as AP 18-21 information, and that a register of all NOTAMS be kept by the Airport Manager. Motion Carried. Resolution Moved by Member Haines that Administration ensure that our AP 18-22 runway numbers have been changed in the Canadian Flight Supplement; and report back to the Committee. Motion Carried. INFORMATION: Managers Report Health Safety & Facilities Coordinator De Wet reviewed his report for all Members present. Resolution Moved by Member Bilsky that the Airport Manager's report be AP 18-23 accepted as information. Motion Carried. Air Cadets Gliding Operations Resolution Moved by Member Dwayne to accept the thank-you letter from the AP 18-24 Villeneuve Cadet Flying Site as information. Motion Carried. AAMA Newsletters Members in attendance reviewed the AAMA newsletters. Resolution Moved by Member Haines to accept all AAMA newsletters as AP 18-25 information. Motion Carried. Resolution Moved by Member Woytovicz to come out of Camera at 10:35 a.m. AP 18-27 Motion Carried. Resolution Moved by Member Rawson to recommend to County Council that AP 18-28 Administration enters into a lease agreement as discussed and proceeds with the gravel taxiway extension as required. Motion Carried NEXT MEETING: October 4, 2018 Next Meeting - October 4, 2018. Resolution Moved by Member Haines to schedule the next meeting on October AP 18-29 4, 2018. Motion Carried.
