Membership & Ticketing Executive The Brisbane Heat is one of eight teams competing in the KFC T20 Big Bash League (BBL). Owned and supported by Queensland Cricket, but managed by a dedicated team with an independent Board, the Heat is a new and exciting brand on the Queensland sporting landscape. Are you seeking an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? The inaugural season of the BBL was a huge success and an opportunity has arisen in the role of Membership & Ticketing Executive. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role is for a highly motivated individual, ideally with membership and ticketing experience looking to take that next step in their career. This is a new role with plenty of scope for the right individual and includes the development, management and implementation of new initiatives to enhance members’ overall experience. You will have experience in working with a membership database including the acquisition and retention of members, and experience in co-ordination of content, events and promotions. The successful candidate will also be the primary contact regarding general ticketing, in liaison with ticketing agent Ticketmaster. Key responsibilities include: Develop and implement, in conjunction with the Marketing Manager, the marketing strategy in order to achieve annual membership sales targets Co-ordinate the development of annual season membership product offerings Manage and co-ordinate membership third parties including fulfilment and database management suppliers Develop and implement an annual members’ events and content calendar Manage the Heat members’ match day experience including the co-ordination of suppliers and liaising with Stadiums Queensland, the venue operator at the Gabba Co-ordinate all aspects of general match day ticketing as the Heat’s primary contact with key third parties, including Ticketmaster and Stadiums Queensland Liaise with Cricket Australia and Queensland Cricket The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years experience in a membership, marketing or ticketing role, ideally within a sporting organisation. Ideally, they will be tertiary qualified in marketing and experienced in dealing with multiple stakeholders. They will be creative, willing to get their hands dirty and possess strong leadership qualities. Interested??
