SIGNIFICANT OPERATIONAL ACCOMPLISHEMENTS:

Upon assumption to office of His Excellency President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, among his priority mandate is for drug users and pushers to voluntary surrender to the authorities. Users and pushers came out in numbers and surrendered to authorities. However, the local officials and authorities failed to provide the necessary intervention to their respective surrenderers which lead them to returned to their usual illegal drug activities.

Thus, presence of drug groups in the region are still the major threat that confronts the operatives of this office. Two active drug groups still exist in the region namely, the Kubal and Abinal Drug Group. However, series of anti-drug operations were already conducted to neutralize the aforementioned drug groups. Moreover, there are still members that remains active in the illegal drug trade. Among them was the Kubal Drug Group who was recently arrested were Jaime Cabilando @Kandong and Agapito Yap III @Jojo. Their arrest paralyzed its operation in other areas of Misamis Occidental. While the other active members of the said drug group continue to proliferate in the province and its nearby municipalities. One noted member of this drug group is Joel Angcap y Alferez. It has been reported that his illegal drug activities already reach the authorities and was also one of the drug surrenderees in Tangub City.

The successful arrest of Lovely Adam Impal with more or less more than half million pesos worth of shabu confiscated from her possession @ Palao, City on January 18, 2017

On 17 February 2017, a Security Guard with his live-in partner (manicurista) was successfully arrested during the Buy Bust Operation with MOL 50 thousand pesos worth of shabu was confiscated in the possession of the suspect

On 18 February 2017, another successful arrest of 6 suspects during the Buy Bust Operation with MOL 100,000.00 thousand pesos worth of shabu was confiscated in the possession of the suspects

Investigation was conducted to validate the information received regarding his involvement in illegal drugs activity. Joel Angcap y Alferez @Matoy is a nephew of the known drug protector Leonida Angcap who is the incumbent Mayor of Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur. Allegedly, Mayor Angcap supports the illegal drug and robbery activities of Kubal Group by using her place in Midsayap as hideout. Firearms were allegedly kept in her residence including illegal drugs. One of the daughter of Mayor Angcap, Mary Anne Angcap leave in Brgy. Labuyo, Tangub City and is the incumbent Chairman and is said to be a girlfriend of Ricardo Parajinog @Ardot also a member of Kubal drug group and a subject of COPLAN GALAXY. Mary Anne Angcap is also engaged in illegal drugs and they were partners with his cousin Joel Angcap y Alferez.

They were the one responsible of the illegal drug proliferation in Tangub City and nearby areas. Aside from his illegal drugs activities, Joel Angcap y Alferez is also a breeder of fighting cocks and one of the proprietors of the cockpit in Tangub City. He uses this business as a cover to his

illegal drug activities. Information also reached this office that during cockfight, Joel Angcap y Alferez also do his illegal drugs trade inside the cockpit.

Buy bust operation conducted at P4B, Barangay Aglayan, City in the presence of DOJ Representative Eric Randolf G. Rabanes; Brgy. KagawadArnel R. Dompor and Brgy.KagawadNicanor A. Mabal and a media Representative Ronilo S. Codino of DXGG Happy FM 107.1.

Most of the operations conducted for the first quarter of this year were the barangays who were considered as moderately affected. Furthermore, Shabu particularly still the center for illegal drug transactions. People from different part of the region used to converge in different places

The anti-drug operations conducted for the first quarter of this year, were mostly those barangays that are considered as moderately affected wherein shabu is one of the center for their illegal drugs transactions in the market. People from different part of this region used to converge in such places because of the presence of illegal gambling. Snatchers and other petty crime offenders used to hide in the area. Residents have no regular source of income. Several drug dens still exists where anyone can sniffed shabu for as low as fifty pesos.

The neutralization and dismantling of this drug dens has big impact in the region particularly in each barangay. This operation has cautioned the residents of the said area. Operatives of this office will not stop in the fight against the illegal drugs and to dismantle drug dens in the community to achieve a drug cleared barangay with active participation of barangay officials to pursue a drug cleared status to their respective barangays.

On the other hand, the strong determination of His Excellency, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in his fight against illegal drugs; destroy drug groups ; armed groups; government officials; and law enforcers who are involved in illegal drug activities in the country remains the motivating force of our operatives to intensify the campaign against illegal drugs in the region.
