Caga-anan (SAO), Joseph A. Abenir (CEO) and Bukidnon Provincial Special Enforcement Team led by IO3 John Romy B. Echeveria (Provincial Officer), IO1 Jestoni B. Tubongbanua and John Mark M. Vargas (Case Monitor) attended the Community Based Rehabilitation Program Completers Meeting (Cluster 3) last January 27, 2018 (Saturday) at Barangay Aglayan covered court Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. Provincial Officer Echeveria stresses out the Salient Provisions of RA 9165 and some benefits/privileges of a CBRP completer. The said activity was attended by 135 participants from Barangays Aglayan, San Jose, Laguitas, Capt. Angel, Canayan, Imbayao, Kibalabag and Manalog with the City DILG staff. Barangay Drug Clearing Operations Please be informed that personnel of this Office represented by Juliet A. Caga-anan (TL, BDCP) and Willy C. Dacula (Member, BDCP) attended the Seminar on Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) cum Barangay Drug Clearing Operations last January 25, 2017 at Hotel Conchita, Yacapin St., Cagayan de oro City. The said activity was attended by 180 participants composed of all Barangay officials, PNP key officers and municipal staff of the Municipality of Medina, Misamis Oriental. In addition, discussed during the activity were the National and Regional Drug Situations and DDB Regulation No. 3 s 2017. Said activity was held at their multi-purpose hall and was attended by seventy-eight (78) students together with some teachers. Topics discussed were the Current Drug Situation and the Harmful Effects of Dangerous Drugs. PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. identified the suspect as Lumna Bongcarao y Maruhom, 42 years old, a barangay kagawad of Brgy. 4, Poblacion, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon and Number 3 of Top 15 Regional Target PDEA- PNP 2015. Also arrested with Bongcarao was Nicolas Elloren y Lapiñas, alias Iko, 35, jobless, of Purok 5, Bgry. 9, Malaybalay City. At around 5:00 in the afternoon, joint operatives of PDEA Regional Office 10 (PDEA RO10) under Director Wilkins M. Villanueva and Malaybalay City Police Station- City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (CAIDSOTG) conducted a buy- bust operation at Room 115 of Pilots, Purok 3, Brgy. Laguitas, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon that led to the arrest of Bongcarao and Elloren. Confiscated from Bongacarao and Elloren were 10 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu weighing 10 grams with an estimated value of P50,000.00, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.

Kiamo, Malaybalay, Bukidnon last December of 2015 to December, 2016. Field Fulgent Coritico Center for Biodiversity Research sampling was performed using a combination of belt transect, opportunistic and random sampling and Extension in Mindanao techniques. Field investigations were done in two vegetation types with elevation from 750-1,500 meters (CEBREM), Central Mindanao above sea level (masl), which include the lower montane (750-1,000 masl) and upper montane (1,000- University, Musuan, Bukidnon, 1,500 masl) forests. Baseline data on species richness and local distribution were documented. A total of Philippines 239 individuals belonging to 20 species and 3 genera viz., Pachyrhynchus, Homalocyrtus and Metapocyrtus were collected from the two vegetation types. The upper montane forest had higher species Alma B Mohagan richness with 12 species as compared to the lower montane forest with 10 species.
