Rich's Notes: the Ten Doctors: a Graphic Novel by Rich Morris 231 The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 231 Rich's Notes: The Doctors and their companions relax on the Eye of Orion. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 232 Rich's Notes: The 1st and 10th Doctor discuss how the Guardians kept the temporally displaced Doctors slightly out of phase, just enough so that the time-native Time Lords wouldn’t be able to recognize them, save for a special few who were directly involved or also time-displaced. The 8th Doctor asks Benton about his career as a used car salesman (it was a cover for when he was doing some secret work with America for UNIT) and Liz finally asks the BIG question! The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 233 Rich's Notes: The Doctors fumble, then goof around, trying to explain the nature of time. Finally the 1st Doctor explains that they’re waiting on a temporal node while the universe sorts itself out after being interfered with by the Guardians. Once they return to their own times, their memories will alter and time will flow around, filling gaps and correcting minor paradoxes. Grace announces to the 8th Doctor that she’s going to work on Terminus with Nyssa. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 234 Rich's Notes: The 8th Doctor offers to take Nyssa and Grace back to Terminus as well as drop off the new K9 body the Doctors built for Leela. Mel decides she’s going to stick with Glitz and Drax and the Rani and the 2nd-and-a-halfth Doctor decides to stay with the 2nd Doctor. And so the Doctors begin to go their seperate ways. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 235 Rich's Notes: Susan urges the 10th and 8th Doctors to find companions because she doesn’t like to think of them traveling alone. She and the 1st Doctor are the first to depart. While the rest of the gang are saying their goodbyes, the Meddling Monk shows up informing the 10th Doctor that this isn’t quite over yet. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 236 Rich's Notes: The K9s say goodbye, exchanging forbidden data for emergencies. This page is partly a dedication to one of my favorite SF robots and also a demonstration of why a multi-K9 comic would have been really boring. And probably very short. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 237 Rich's Notes: The Monk takes the 10th Doctor aside to tell him that he has an opportunity to prevent the Last Great Time War from happening and wiping out the Time Lords. All he has to do is hand over the data file he got from Damon to the 8th Doctor. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 238 Rich's Notes: The Monk explains that the entire series of events that led to the Last Great Time War was started by the Time Lords’ own temporal interferance, and that it never should have happened at all. The 8th Doctor finds the 10th and the Monk slips off. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 239 Rich's Notes: The 8th Doctor says goodbye and the 10th Doctor struggles with his decision. He finally decides not to hand over the data spool. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 240 Rich's Notes: The 2nd Doctor, the 2nd-and-a-halfth Doctor, Jamie and Zoe say their goodbyes and leave. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 241 Rich's Notes: Drax decides it’s time to leave, taking the Rani, Glitz and Mel with him. The various Doctors keep warning him and Mel about the other two, but they’re determined to stick together. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 242 Rich's Notes: The 7th Doctor and Ace say their goodbyes. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 243 Rich's Notes: It’s the 3rd Doctor’s turn to round up his passengers, and he’s got quite a boatload. His official current companion, Jo, the Brigadier, Benton, Yates and Liz who came to visit from Jo’s future, Sarah Jane Smith and her K9, and Capt’n Jack who’s hitching a ride back to London to get back to his TW team. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 244 Rich's Notes: All this saying goodbye is becoming a little much for the 9th Doctor. He goes to leave with Rose, but when stopped by the 4th and then the 8th Doctor, he finally just has to get himself out of there. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 245 Rich's Notes: The remaining Doctors (4th, 5th, 6th, 8th and 10th) watch as the 9th Doctor’s TARDIS dematerializes. The 10th Doctor attempts to comfort the 8th and briefly reconsiders handing over the data spool. Peri, who with the 6th Doctor have decided it’s their turn to leave, claps the 10th Doctor on the shoulder. Surprised, he drops the spool which lands at the 8th Doctor’s feet. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 246 Rich's Notes: The 8th and 5th Doctors are curious about the origins and content of the data spool and the 10th Doctor urges them to hand it back. After a tense moment, they do. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 247 Rich's Notes: The 6th Doctor and Peri say their goodbyes. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 248 Rich's Notes: The 8th Doctor decides it’s his turn to go, taking Nyssa and Grace back to Terminus. Nyssa says a fond farewell to Tegan and the 5th Doctor. The 8th Doctor jokingly propositions Romana and Grace and Romana have a moment. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 249 Rich's Notes: The 5th Doctor says his goodbyes. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 250 Rich's Notes: The 4th Doctor, last to arrive, last to depart, tells the 10th Doctor that he appreciates him. The 10th Doctor expresses his appreciation for his 4th incarnation. The 4th Doctor, Romana and K9 leave, but not before Romana lets slip about an alien presence at the hospital on Earth. The 10th Doctor is alone on the Eye of Orion. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 251 Rich's Notes: The 10th Doctor is once again alone on the Eye of Orion. But before he can slump into his previous depression, he reminds himself that all those incarnations of himself are always with him and, in a sense, he’s never alone. He charges off to new adventures in the TARDIS! The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 252 Rich's Notes: And so the TARDIS whisks the Doctor off on a new adventure. The sketchy pencil TARDIS merges into the computer generated one of the actual series. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 253 Rich's Notes: Martha walks through a crowded London street, discussing wedding party plans with various family members. After her father's girlfriend squicks her out a bit, she is surprised by the 10th Doctor, who removes his tie in some odd demonstration and then walks off into the crowd. This is, of course, an abbreviated version of the opening scene of "Smith & Jones", which "The 10 Doctors" is set just prior to. The End. The Ten Doctors: A Graphic Novel by Rich Morris Chapter 10 254 Rich's Notes: Coming soon, to http://comics.shipsinker.com.

The sun rising over the peaceful blue Earth. VOICE OVER The Monks have been with us from the beginning. Primordial soup: a fish heaves itself from the swamp, its little fins work like pistons to drag itself up the bank, across the sandy earth. The most important and monumental struggle in the planet’s history. It bumps into the foot of a Monk, waiting for it. VOICE OVER (CONT’D) They shepherded humanity through its formative years, gently guiding and encouraging. Cave paintings: primitive man. Before them, what can only be a Monk. From the Shakespeare Unlimited podcast series. And, you know, every community somehow in the West has somehow claimed Shakespeare for its own intellectual projects, and they of course claimed him too. As a keen observer of his world, Shakespeare incorporated all of these surroundings into his plays. Sign in or create an account. The Valeyard quoted a verse from scene one of act three of the work to the Sixth Doctor. And in a way Othello is the play of where Portia marries Morocco. Hamlet was a play written by William Shakespeare. I could not agreement more with the gender lock on this one. The period when Shakespeare was writing was one torn by disagreements over the proper method of observing Christianity in England. Chapters on sex and gender, politics, writing, religion, and other topics all suggest that though Shakespearecreated characters with extreme and wide-ranging views, the worldof the plays and thus perhaps of Shakespeare himself rewardscompassion, understanding, forgiveness, duty, and above all, love. APA Segal, E. This game should be gender- locked, in my opinion. Save your friends and family from their unfortunate ends or damn them to their tragic fate.

This chapter covers the remainder of the functions of pu by itself in Modern Greek dialects.1 It is more akin to a survey, as the dis- cussion is organised according to linguistic function, rather than region. • Doctor Who: Full Circle
DOCTOR WHO FULL CIRCLE By ANDREW SMITH Prologue Twisting, burning metal screamed at a pitch which challenged the death-yells of the passengers and crew members throughout the massive structure of the starliner as the great space vessel hurtled, out of control, towards the shifting grey mists that enshrouded the surface of the terror planet Alzarius. Those in areas of the ship where the meteors had damaged the hull insulation died burning, horrible deaths, their corpses dragged out into space to fall towards the planet in the starliner's wake. On the bridge, ashen-faced Commander Yakob Lorenzil ignored a severe gash in his left arm to view on the master monitor high on the wall before him the mists of Alzarius through which the starliner now cut a red, blazing path. Aware again of the intolerable heat, and of the pain his arm, Lorenzil clutched at his wound and let himself fall back into his chair. Sub-Commander Damyen Fenrik had taken the place of the dead Chief Pilot at the central flight console. Blinking the sweat from his eyes, he surveyed the instruments before him with giddy terror, the beat of his own heart pulsing achingly in his ears. 'Impact imminent!' he cried. Lorenzil yelled, 'Ready yourselves!' and with his good hand secured the double clasp of his chair harness. He wondered if it would be strong enough to hold him. What would happen if - ? On the master monitor the treetops of an Alzarian forest were visible for one split instant and then the universe exploded inside Lorenzil's head.

  • Doctor Who: Ribos Operation
DOCTOR WHO AND THE RIBOS OPERATION By IAN MARTER Based on the BBC television serial The Ribos Operation by Robert Holmes by arrangement with the British Broadcasting Corporation Chapter 1 Unwelcome Strangers The tall loose-limbed figure, clad in voluminous shirt-sleeves and baggy tweed trousers tucked into creaking leather boots, strode around the faintly humming chamber. His nose was buried in an enormous tattered chart which he held up in front of his face with long, outstretched arms. From time to time he stopped in mid-stride and muttered unintelligibly to himself before setting off again, deep in thought, in the opposite direction. Suddenly the chart flew out of his hands. He uttered a short bellow of pain and hopped about clutching an injured knee, his movements grotesquely reflected in the polished metal walls surrounding him. Then he stood still and glared at the hexagonal control console which pulsed and flashed in the centre of the chamber. Cant you look where youre going? he cried, with a resentful frown. He picked up the chart and spread it out over the mass of switches, buttons, dials and lights which covered the buzzing console. Smoothing the crackling, curling edges with large, careful hands he pored over the maze of faded patterns printed on the thick, brittle paper. As he bent forward with a frown of intense concentration, his rugged features were dramatically illuminated in the fluorescent glow spilling over them. Suddenly his eyes opened wide and he fixed a spot on the chart with a piercing stare. Thats the place... he cried, straightening up and ruffling his shock of curly brown hair with both hands.
