In 1950 the museum absorbed the Princes by Iwona Erskine-Kellie Czartoryski Museum, Library and Archives. Today the holdings include the collections of the Sukiennice (Cloth Hall) and the Emeryk Hutten-Czapski Museum. Currently the collection contains over 780,000 pieces and currently hosts many events and traveling exhibits.
