broaden your palate ™ WINE CLUB NEWSLETTER Fall 2019 | reds dear club members, I’m excited to introduce myself if we haven’t already met! I’m Jennifer Oaks and I am the Wine Club Manager here at Imagery. Prior to this role, I had the privilege of first working in the Tasting Room and being able to interact with many of our guests daily. There I developed a passion for not only the brand and art collection, but of course, the wines and our wine club members! This year has been a whirlwind so far, and we are ecstatic to share the awards and accolades Imagery has received from recent wine competitions and publications. Our very own winemaker, Jamie Benziger, has been selected as one of Wine Enthusiast’s Top 40 Under 40 Tastemakers 2019. It is a great honor and we congratulate Jamie for being a positive influence on the wine industry! Our wines have also received outstanding recognition throughout the year. Included in your October shipment is the 2016 Cabernet Franc. Awarded Best of Class, Double Gold and 99pts at the California State Fair Wine Competition, this wine is sure to be a hit with our club members as well. Let’s not forget we have some exciting events coming up! October 5th is our Italian Affair where Jamie will be hosting a family-style Italian dinner paired with her favorite Imagery varietals. Another great event at the winery is our Holiday Open House on November 9th, if you will be in Glen Ellen we hope you will join us. If you cannot make it, we sure look forward to seeing you on your next visit to the Winery! Despite early season warmth and rain challenges, once we hit ripening season we had great weather for the hanging fruit to reach full maturity and to achieve ideal flavors and balance.
