“College”) and Berklee Faculty Union of the American Federation of Teachers, Local 4412, AFT-MA, AFL-CIO (herein referred to as the “Union”) and amended on June 12, 2020 ARTICLE 1 RECOGNITION The Employer recognizes the Union as the exclusive bargaining representative of the units defined in the “Certification of Representative” issued by the National Labor Relations Board on the 26th of April, 1985 in Case No. 1-RC-18, 380, as previously modified and pursuant to the certification of representative issued on June 13, 2017. These units consist of: A. Full-time Unit: All 9 month salaried teaching faculty employed by Berklee College of Music at its Boston, Massachusetts campus, including the Boston Conservatory at Berklee program, but excluding all other employees, hourly teaching faculty, managerial employees, non-teaching professional employees, President, Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, Assistant Vice Presidents, Deans, Associate Deans, Assistant Deans, Chairs of Departments, Assistant Chairs of Departments, Executive Directors, Senior Directors, Directors, Associate Directors, Assistant Directors, Academic Administrators, Visiting Professors, Artists in Residence, Endowed Chairs, clerical employees, guards and supervisors as defined in the Act. B. Part-Time Unit: All hourly teaching faculty employed during the academic year by the Berklee College of Music at its Boston, Massachusetts campus, including the Boston Conservatory at Berklee program, but excluding all other employees, salaried teaching faculty, managerial employees, non-teaching professional employees, President, Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, Assistant Vice Presidents, Deans, Associate Deans, Assistant Deans, Chairs of Departments, Assistant Chairs of Departments, Executive Directors, Senior Directors, Directors, Associate Directors, Assistant Directors, Academic Administrators, Visiting Professors, Artists in Residence, Endowed Chairs,

This Institutional Master Plan Notification Form presents the Conservatory’s current proposal to demolish the building at 132 Ipswich Street and to construct the same amount of space as originally proposed in a three story building on about half the 18,700 SF site. This change is necessary because extensive engineering analysis of the structure and other building conditions undertaken during the due diligence period prior to closing on the purchase determined that reuse of the existing building was not feasible. The ICC at Berklee’s campus in Valencia, Spain offers a professional collaborative service to any music industry partner to place graduate program students as interns within their company. The ICC acknowledges the unique needs of the music industry, and will work with partnering companies in the process of recruiting students.
