I will take your questions in turn below. 1. What is the geographical distribution of those above 60 who have yet to register for the COVID19 vaccine? Currently, registration for those above 60 stands at 40.1%. It ranges from 56.8% in Putrajaya, to 22.9% in Sabah. For States with low registration numbers such as in Sabah, Kelantan (25.1%), Terengganu (29.4%), Kedah (30.9%) and Pahang (31.5%), we are working with MKN, NADMA and the state governments on an outreach programme to encourage people to register, particularly for senior citizens. The outreach programme is not only to help them register for PICK but also to convince them on why it is important for people their age to be vaccinated against COVID-19. We also assure them that the vaccines are safe, effective and if they have any religious concerns, we also reassure them that the vaccines are halal. We are also working with the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development to register and vaccinate residents and caregivers at elderly care homes. Mobile vaccination teams will be sent to the care homes to vaccinate on site. 2. What steps have been taken to work with state governments in order to increase the vaccine registration rate? I have spoken to all Menteris Besar and Chief Ministers virtually over the last month and a half.

For it to perform as envisaged there is a need to develop an integrated land-use masterplan for the catchment, based on an adequate understanding of the natural system supporting it. 6.1.2 To develop the masterplan there is a need to review the existing land-use policies and land-use situation in the catchment. Based on the review and the land-use controls, recommended by the various specialists in the study team to ensure the success and sustainability of the Lake, an integrated land-use masterplan can then be develop to guide the future development in the catchment. 6.2 REVIEW OF LAND-USE POLICIES AND GUIDELINES 6.2.1 The Structure Plans 6.2.1.1 The current land-use policy in the catchment is governed by two district Structure Plans. They are: • The Structure Plan for Putrajaya and part of Sepang District • The Structure Plan for Petaling District and part of Klang District 6.2.1.2 The Structure Plan for Putrajaya and part of Sepang District has defined a set of policies for the planning and development of Putrajaya.     1 KEEP APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF JUSTICE OUT OF PARLIAMENTARY SELECT COMMITTEE By Tun Abdul Hamid Mohamad On 12 November, 2019, The Malaysian Insight reported: “Parliament will this month receive a report on appointments of four government agency chiefs, said William Leong, the chairman of the parliamentary select committee (PSC) on major public appointments. The four are that of the chiefs of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency (MACC) and Election Commission, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and chief justice. MACC chief Latheefa Koya was summoned by the committee last June where she was asked to explain her vision, mission and focus, among others. ….. Leong said then a report will be tabled in Parliament on the outcome of the meeting. Dr Mahathir, however, later said the appointments of the EC Chairman and its members, MACC chief commissioner, and members of the Judicial Appointments Commission and the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) will go through the committee from now on. Asked if the other three were summoned to the committee’s hearing like Latheefa, Leong said the committee engaged with the respective agencies instead of the individuals. “We have already discussed with most of them, so we are now in the process of finalising the report. We hope in the next two to three weeks to table the report,” Leong told The Malaysian Insight. At this juncture, the committee has been given the approval by the government to look into the four positions but more will be added from time to time, he said.”” I am most concerned about the Chief Justice (CJ) being included in the list.

The country experienced its first ruling party rotation since independence, when Tun Dr. Mahathir led the newly formed Pakatan Harapan to winning 122 out of the 222 Parliamen- tary seats and formally took over Putrajaya Federal Administrative Center. A new government means a new way of governing. Whether it is in terms of institutional reform or people-oriented policy implementation, the new government shows unprecedented determination and has created a whole environment. In the same year, the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) ushered in its 28th anniversary of establishment. In the 90s, the Malaysia Chinese Commodity Import and Export Trade Association, the predecessor of MCCC, responded to the call of China’s reform and opening up. For 28 years, MCCC has not only been promoting the friendly economic and trade relations between the Malaysia and China, but has also witnessed the rise of China in the global economy, culture, sports and science and technology. MCCC is confidence that with the in-depth development of the Belt and Road Initiative and by following closely to the policies of the new government, it can continue to promote friendly Malaysia-China exchanges across fields in a more pragmatic, close and precise manner. The concept of LOS lies on the importance of an assessment of roadway operational performance services for the improvement of bus service delivery. A high performance of bus service delivery could relatively influence the satisfaction level of its users. This study assesses the LOS of three main designated routes of SMART buses in Kajang Selangor (KJ01, KJ02, and KJ03). The SMART buses are free buses provided under a free transit programme which aims to encourage people to use public transportation. An on-board survey and inventory observation were employed to collect the data. Findings indicate that KJ01, KJ02, and KJ03 fall under the category of LOS D considering the attributes of service frequency, service hours, passenger load/thresholds, and speed of bus. The discovery may serve as a useful guidance for the development of a comprehensive plan for LOS to be coordinated in improving the service quality of bus transportation.
