The following brief list has been prepared in an endeavor to assist Americans who may need translation or interpreting services in Tuscany and Emilia Romagna and is meant to serve as guidance only.
The American Consulate General is not legally competent to take an oath for documents translated from English into Italian for use in Italy. Anyone requiring this type of service must have the translation done by an official translator, i.e. a translator who has his/her signature deposited in Pretura (Italian Lower Court House).
