SXSW Music - Where the Global Music Community Connects Second Round of Artists, More Panels and Music Hackathon Announced
November 17, 2015 - Austin, Texas - The South by Southwest® Music Conference and Festival (SXSW®) is pleased to announce the second round of artists invited to perform, additional conference sessions and the acceptance of SXSW Music Hackathon applications. This is just a small sample of the wide array of innovative programming being presented to the attending global music community. SXSW Music’s 30th annual event takes place Tuesday, March 15 - Sunday, March 20, 2016 in Austin, Texas.
The SXSW Music Conference will be presenting on-trend conference programming relying on the business acumen of notable industry insiders who are here to help creative people achieve their goals. The SXSW Music Hackathon will return for its third year on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. For 24 hours, up-and- coming SXSW showcasing artists will join with world-class hackers, designers, programmers and industry judges to create tech innovations in the music space that will enhance live performances and interactivity with their fans. Using their programming know-how and a collection of music-tech APIs, teams will compete for big prizes. The South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival is a six-day event held every March in Austin, Texas. The conference offers unmatched access to ideas and global viewpoints on an increasingly borderless industry. It aims to educate and inspire musicians and professionals alike, with sessions attended by over 30,000 registrants and showcasing artists.
