Bettini 14/11, I16162 Genova, Italy Abstract— The paper is aimed at integrating and updating the first edition of the checklist of Ligurian macrofungi. Data are related to mycological researches carried out mainly in some holm-oak woods through last three years. The new taxa collected amount to 172: 15 of them belonging to Ascomycota and 157 to Basidiomycota. It should be highlighted that 12 taxa have been recorded for the first time in Italy and many species are considered rare or infrequent. Each taxa reported consists of the following items: Latin name, author, habitat, height, and the WGS-84 Global Position System (GPS) coordinates. This work, together with the original Ligurian checklist, represents a contribution to the national checklist. Key words—mycological flora, new reports Introduction Liguria represents a very interesting region from a mycological point of view: macrofungi, directly and not directly correlated to vegetation, are frequent, abundant and quite well distributed among the species. This topic is faced and discussed in Zotti & Orsino (2001). Observations prove an high level of fungal biodiversity (sometimes called “mycodiversity”) since Liguria, though covering only about 2% of the Italian territory, shows more than 36 % of all the species recorded in Italy. -

-Chapter II- -Access to Environmental Information-- Case Studies: ° Accident of a Truck Containing Nitric Acid on Bang Na-Trad Road ° Illegal Landfill of Hazardous Waste at Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province Introduction General Situation During the past years of country development, Thailand has accelerated her economic development by maximizing the use of human and natural resources, employing modern technologies, and increasingly importing hazardous chemicals and substances in order to increase the productivity. As a result, the industry has grown very rapid, so has the economic growth and changes. Although such economic changes have positive impacts on the general population including better education, life conditions and well-beings, several changes have caused negative impacts on human health sanity and safety due to higher exposures to environmental emergencies. The use of hazardous chemicals in agricultural, industrial, and public health sectors has increased rapidly. It was found that the domestic production of hazardous chemicals has increased from 2.74 million tons in 1993 to 23.0 million tons in 2004; where as, the import of hazardous chemicals has increased from 2.79 million tons in 1993 to 5.0 million tons in 2004 (Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, 2004; Pollution Control Department, 2004). These domestically produced and imported hazardous chemicals are in the form of ready-chemical products and basic active ingredients that are used as raw materials in manufacturing and agricultural sectors. Most of them are classified as inflammable, explosive, poisonous and corrosive substances, and currently they are being improperly employed. It was found that people are lacking of responsibility, awareness, and carefulness in using these hazardous chemicals and there was no effective system for managing hazardous substances‘ life cycle covering importation, production, distribution, transportation, usage, storage and waste disposal. -

The scientific problems related to this genus include that the identification of species in this genus from China need to be verified, especially those referring to European or North American species, and knowledge of the phylogeny and diversity of the species from China is limited. In this study, we conducted multi- locus (nrLSU, tef1-a, rpb2) and single-locus (ITS) phylogenetic investigations and morphological observisions of Leccinum from China, Europe and North America. -

International Journal of Renewable Energy, Vol. 7, No. 1, January - June 2012 A Study of Local Identity and Local Environment Factors Influenced Architectural Design Usanee Mingvimol Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University Abstract This study is aim to describe the complex relationship between many variables from 3 factors which effect the architectural design. The three groups are (1) Environment (2) Architecture and (3) Human. The first group, ENVIRONMENT, can divide into 4 major basic elements consist of fire, water, air (wind) and earth. The second group, ARCHITECTURE, is the modifier to fulfill the basic need and changeable requirement of the third group, HUMAN. The methodology of this study is to extract the important factors which effect the architectural design and apply new guideline to the sample project. Then, evaluate the performance of the outcome. The RCE (Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development) TRANG project is the example of following the architectural design guidelines. The design of this project is already completed and its outcome is fulfillment, energy efficient and sustainable. For the unique climate of Trang province which is 8- month of raining and 4-month of sunshine. This identity causes many problems in the past are now converting into useful asset. Rain is use for visual satisfaction and MRT cooling effect without more energy consumption. Finding the essence of environment, architecture and human, DNA of Land, is like seeking the DNA of human body. They will survive and sustainable us in this present time and in the future. AN ABSTRACT OF THE DISSERTATIONOF Kentaro Hosaka for the degree of Doctor ofPhilosophy in Botany and Plant Pathology presented on October 26, 2005. Title: Systematics, Phylogeny, andBiogeography of the Hysterangiales and Related Taxa (Phallomycetidae, Homobasidiomycetes). Abstract approved: Redacted for Privacy Monophyly of the gomphoid-phalloid dadewas confirmed based on multigene phylogenetic analyses. Four major subclades(Hysterangiales, Geastrales, Gomphales and Phallales) were also demonstratedto be monophyletic. The interrelationships among the subclades were, however, not resolved, andalternative topologies could not be rejected statistically. Nonetheless,most analyses showed that the Hysterangiales and Phallales do not forma monophyletic group, which is in contrast to traditional taxonomy. The higher-level phylogeny of thegomphoid-phalloid fungi tends to suggest that the Gomphales form a sister group with either the Hysterangialesor Phallales. Unweighted parsimonycharacter state reconstruction favorsthe independent gain of the ballistosporic mechanism in the Gomphales, but the alternativescenario of multiple losses of ballistospoiy could not be rejected statistically underlikelihood- based reconstructions. This latterhypothesis is consistent with thewidely accepted hypothesis that the loss of ballistosporyis irreversible. The transformationof fruiting body forms from nongastroid to gastroidwas apparent in the lineage leading to Gautieria (Gomphales), but thetree topology and character statereconstructions supported that truffle-like -
