A south facing embankment runs along the length of the northern boundary, mature conifers are present to the south west of the site (and along part of its eastern boundary). To the east of the site centre is a large flat area of managed grass, to the west of the site centre the ground level fluxuates and is generally south facing. There are mature specimen shrubs interspersed around the site, a track runs from the 'bottle neck' entrance in the north, then east through the site to the large area of flat lawn in its centre, the location of the proposed dwelling is in this area. The latest application number is 59776, granted on the 14th September 2015 which was an application for a non-material amendment to planning permission 58980, in respect of amended design for new dwelling.
