PREFACE This study is the result of months of analysis, discussion and drafting by a group of top security policy experts concerned with the preeminent totalitarian threat of our time: the legal-political-military doctrine known within Islam as “shariah.” It is designed to provide a comprehensive and articulate “second opinion” on the official characterizations and assessments of this threat as put forth by the United States government. The authors, under the sponsorship of the Center for Security Policy, have modeled this work on an earlier “exercise in competitive analysis” which came to be known as the “Team B” Report. That 1976 document challenged the then-prevailing official U.S. government intelligence estimates of the intentions and offensive capabilities of the Soviet Union and the policy known as “détente” that such estimates ostensi- bly justified. In 1973, the UN General Assembly adopted the international Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid, a crime against humanity. The word ‘apartheid’ means separation in Afrikaans, a language spoken in South Africa. ‘Apartheid’ is defined by the UN as “…a system of institutionalized racial segregation and discrimination for the purpose of establishing and maintaining domination by one racial group … over another … and systematically oppressing them…” by creating ghettos, confiscating land, banning freedom of movement, speech and mixed-marriage and through illegal arrest and detention. The Hebrew word for separation has come to be used by Israeli policy makers to refer to the idea of creating deliberate divisions between Israelis and Palestinians. Israel's barrier carving through the Palestinian West Bank is a conspicuous example, planned to stretch more than 400 miles including the endless spans of 25-foot-high concrete wall still under construction. The structure is called a 'separation fence' in Hebrew. The expression 'unilateral disengagement' for Israel's actions, for example, in Gaza, is yet another way to frame the officially-sanctioned policy of apartheid. -

Chapter 3 The grassroots organizations and the religious right “Take your Sharia and go home, you terrorist lovers. Your hands are bloody! Your money is bloody! Get out! Terrorists! Terrorists! Terrorists!” These statements were shouted by protestors at Muslim American children walk- ing into a fundraiser event in Yorba Linda, California, in February of this year. The Muslim American families moved briskly into the building as some parents shielded their children from the men and women in the crowd, who were waving flags, carrying homemade signs, and barking obscenities. The taunts and howls of the mob were captured on video and later circulated online. The YouTube video left many observers around the country outraged at the visceral display of hatred toward a minority group.1 But it was just the latest in a string of events that have included vandalism at mosques, Koran burnings, and street protests against American Muslims. Our nation is witnessing a rising tide in anti-Muslim sentiments. A Washington Post -ABC News poll last September showed that nearly half of Americans (49 percent) hold an unfavorable view of Islam, which is a 10 percent increase from October 2002.2 Yet the Yorba Linda rally did not occur in a vacuum. Nor was it spontaneous. Some of the people involved are members of national organizations dedicated to targeting the Muslim American community. One of the largest such hate groups, ACT! for America, was involved in both the Yorba Linda incident and similar hate rallies in Tennessee, Florida, and other states, as this chapter of our report will demonstrate. -

September 11 was a horrific day in world history, one that will be remembered with sadness and anger for generations to come. But those of us in the daily practice of spiritual leadership know, too, that we have a unique obligation in such times. The men and women of The Interfaith Alliance and The Interfaith Alliance Foundation are not all clergy; indeed, mine is the only ordination in our national office when our board members are not in town. Our staff reacted to the tragedy as would a pastor, imam, priest, or rabbi, reaching out to lend support and resources to those in pain, working to prevent anti-Muslim and anti-Sikh backlash and to help bring communities together. Our local Alliances and national boards sprang into action as well. Some scheduled unity events, some reached out to Muslims and Sikhs, and some met with political and religious leaders in an effort to gently guide them toward messages of inclusion. All demonstrated in word and deed the positive, healing role of religion in our society. Although we have grown and expanded our programs significantly since we were founded, we remain very much true to our original calling. -
Imam Muhammad Musri
Imam Muhammad Musri Imam Muhammad Musri is the director of the Islamic Society of Central Florida (ISCF), which oversees ten mosques in the Central Florida area. While Musri claims to advocate for peace, his actions indicate otherwise. He has used mosques and Muslim community events to fundraise for Hamas, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization. He has also argued that U.S. foreign policy is responsible for 9/11 and radical Islam. Musri organized fundraisers for the U.S.-designated terrorist organization Hamas. ● A mosque, under Musri’s supervision, held a Gaza Solidarity Day in 2009 in which George Galloway and Imam Mahdi Bray were guest speakers. They raised $55,000 in tax-deductible donations from community members. Galloway distributed this money to Hamas leaders in Gaza.1 ○ George Galloway, a vocal supporter of Hamas, has been banned from entering Canada as a result of engaging in fundraising for terrorist organizations.2 ○ Imam Mahdi Bray is known for his support of U.S.- designated terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah, as he publicly cheered for them at a Washington D.C. rally.3 ○ Hamas is not interested in peace. It regularly calls for the genocide of the Jewish people and the destruction of Israel. The following are direct quotes from the Hamas Charter: ■ “Israel will exist and continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”4 ■ “More steps need to be taken by the Arab and Islamic peoples… in order to make possible the next round with the Jews, the merchants of War.5 ■ The day of judgment will not come until Muslims fight [and kill] the Jews.”6 Raising money for U.S.-designated terrorist organizations is against U.S. -
