  • Peugeot 3008 DKR: Nuovi Artigli Per La Dakar 2017

PROGRAMME PEUGEOT SPORT 2008 - Press release - Peugeot 908 HDi FAP - Technical Data - Calendar - Drivers - The team - Press officer - Motor Sport Promotional Activities 2008 PROGRAMME A YEAR OF MANY CHALLENGES The 2007 season turned out to be one of the most rewarding ever for Peugeot Sport which launched four different new cars on the world motor sport scene, from the factory programme with the 908 HDi FAP to its package of promotional formulae with the 207 LW THP, 207 Super 2000 and Spider THP. The lessons learned by the team while finding its marks last year will be implemented in 2008 and all its energy will be devoted to building on that experience to achieve its objectives. This time last year, under the leadership of Michel Barge, Peugeot Sport organised a dynamic presentation of the new 908 HDi FAP to announce its modest objectives for the season ahead. Following the car's initial gestation, which was rapid to say the least, Team Peugeot Total enjoyed a memorable season which brought its fair share of surprises, satisfactions and passion, not to mention the unrelenting toil which enabled it to secure results well beyond its expectations and targets. Indeed, never in Peugeot's history had a competition car won out of the box, yet the 908 HDi FAP claimed victory in its debut race at Monza before going on to clinch the 2007 Le Mans Series. Team Peugeot Total won all six rounds, started from pole position each time and posted every fastest race lap, not to mention its unhoped-for performance at Le Mans where it started from pole position before taking second place at the end of the 24-hour race.

  • Carbone Lorraine Will Be Peugeot Sport's Exclusive
PRESS RELEASE PARIS, FEBRUARY 3, 2004 Carbone Lorraine will be Peugeot Sport’s exclusive technical partner for the 2004 World Rally Championship Groupe Carbone Lorraine has announced the signature of an exclusive partnership with Peugeot Sport for 2004. As part of this partnership, Carbone Lorraine will supply Peugeot with disk pads for the Peugeot 307 WRC. During 2003, the Group’s braking division developed a revolutionary disk pad technology that dissipates the energy from high-power braking systems. This advanced technology was tested successfully by the Peugeot Total team during the 2003 season on the 206 WRC and has just been adopted on the 307 WRC for the 2004 season. Carbone Lorraine’s racing brakes were chosen by Peugeot because they combine the high performance of new sintered materials, which the Group already supplies for TGV high-speed trains, with the expertise of Carbone Lorraine’s specialist engineers in energy dissipation. Drivers, including Marcus Gronholm (World Champion in 2000 and 2002), who brake left- footed while continuing to accelerate, thus keep the same braking power on all circuits irrespective of the temperatures reached. This parternship, which will enable Carbone Lorraine to leverage on Peugeot Sport’s image and reputation to sell its range of RC 6 racing brakes right around the world, demonstrates the success of the Group’s strategy of developing new products in partnership with its customers. r e s l a P --end-- LE CARBONE LORRAINE S.A. with capital of €22,219,466 - RCS Nanterre B 572 060 333 Head office: Immeuble La Fayette - 2-3, place des Vosges - PARIS LA DÉFENSE 5 - F-92400 COURBEVOIE – France Reminder: Carbone Lorraine is an industrial group specialising in electrical components (brushes for electric motors, magnets and industrial fuses) and advanced materials and technologies.
