GO! GO! Following last year's brilliant 10th anniversary celebration, the Cheltenham-based, independent, green-fields rock festival can today announce their first set of acts for this summer's event. The first announced headliner will be the brilliant SLAVES. who headline the main stage on Saturday night (8th July). From Isaac SLAVES - “Really chuffed to be headlining 2000trees Festival, it’s an honour. It’s one of my favourite UK festivals” The festival can ALSO announce 37 more, outstanding acts. These are (in no particular order): Essex 5 piece, and top 10 album chart rockers NOTHING BUT THIEVES, Leeds legendary noiseniks PULLED APART BY HORSES, ex-Reuben front man and now successful solo gentleman JAMIE LENMAN, the most exciting (and the loudest) band in Kent FEED THE RHINO and fresh from recently supporting Weezer, DINOSAUR PILE-UP. JAMIE LENMAN - "Me and Trees go way back, it's never a hard decision for me when they ask me to come play. This will be my first year on the main stage and It's going to be huge!" PULLED APART BY HORSES - "We're super excited to be back at 2000 Trees this year. We played the festival for the first time in 2010 and have had the honour to play and return to it over the past few years. This year we get the chance to kick start the festival on the Thursday evening!
