  • Raise Your Fists, Be Loud and Dance !
Emma: “The song was inspired by the Emma Goldman quote “If I can’t dance, it’s not my revolution”, in times when it’s more than important than ever to do both”. Nach einigen Singles erscheint im Mai 2017 auf Heptown Records (Vertrieb: Rough Trade) endlich das Debut Album „The Guilt“ . ALBUM RELEASE INFO “THE GUILT” This explosive duo from Malmö, Sweden, is the death in disco and the dance in revolution.

As the last well documented and comprehensive test available on the internet has been a few years ago, I thought it would be a good idea to update. Beside comparing with CD-audio (which is often done to assess codec perfor- mance) and spitting out a grand total, this comparison also looks at extremes that occurred during the test and takes a look at 'high-resolution audio' and multichannel/surround audio. While the comparison was made to update the comparison-page on the FLAC website, it aims to be fair and unbiased. Because of this, you'll probably won't find anything that looks like conclusions: test results are displayed and analysed, but there is no judgement or choice made.

  • Xzibit Napalm Album Free Mp3 Download Xzibit
xzibit napalm album free mp3 download Xzibit. Alvin Nathaniel Joiner (born September 18, 1974 in Detroit, Michigan), better known by his stage name Xzibit, is an American rapper, actor, and host of MTV's Pimp My Ride. He began his music career as a member of the Likwit Crew, a loose collective of West Coast rappers including King Tee, Defari, and Tha Alkaholiks. He released his solo debut album 'At The Speed Of Life' in 1996 and has since released 5 more albums, his latest being Full Circle, released in 2006. His new album Napalm is expected to be released sometime in 2012. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Joiner moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, with his father when he was ten years old (his mother had passed away when he was nine years old). Around this time, as he did not have any entertainment, he began writing poems. Around the age of 13, he started getting into trouble with the local police. By the time he was 14, he served a short stint in juvenile detention. Finally around 17 years old he had been expelled from several Albuquerque high schools for allegedly raping his guidance counselers. At that point, he moved with $3,000 to Los Angeles, California in his purple and black Geo Tracker to pursue his dream. Xzibit got his start as a member of the Likwit Crew a loose collective of West Coast rappers including Tha Alkaholiks and King T. After touring with them in 1995, Loud Records released the feisty young rapper's debut album, At The Speed Of Life (1996).

The "blank generation" came out of a moral vacuum. While punks roamed the suburban landscape, blue-collar workers were feeling the pinch of an economic revolution: human society had left the industrial age and entered the post-industrial age, the age in which services (such as software) prevail over manufacturing. Computers now rule the world, from Wall Street to Boeing. The assembly line took away a bit of the personality of the worker, but that was nothing: the new service- based economy takes away the worker completely, physically. In the post-industrial society the individual is even less of a "person". The individual is merely a cog in a huge organism of interconnected parts that works at the beat of a gigantic network of computers. This highly sophisticated economy treats the individual as a number, as a statistic. The goal is no longer to create a robot that behaves like a human being, but to create a human being that behaves like a robot: robots are efficient and lead to manageable and profitable businesses, whereas humans are inefficient and difficult to manage.

  • Kid Congo Powers Double Record Release Party
KID CONGO POWERS DOUBLE RECORD RELEASE PARTY KID CONGO POWERS DOUBLE RECORD RELEASE PARTY Tonic, March 3, 2006 Kid Congo Powers is celebrating the release of two albums on March 3, 2006 at Tonic. The first, Solo Cholo, is a career-spanning compilation focusing on the legendary guitarist’s work as a vocalist and songwriter from 1985 to the present. The second, Philosophy and Underwear, is the debut recording of his current New York band, Kid Congo and the Pink Monkey Birds - in which Kid not only sings, but also plays blistering dual guitars with ace Jack Martin (Knoxville Girls, Honeymoon Killers, etc.). After twenty-five years in the recording business (The Cramps’ Psychedelic Jungle was 1981), these two albums are the first full-length recordings that focus on Kid’s songs. The event also marks New York Night Train (www.newyorknighttrain.com) webzine’s debut as a record label. For this momentous occasion Kid has gathered an all-star cast of collaborators, friends, and favorites that will amount to one of the most unusual assemblages of underground figures in downtown history. The headliner is of course Kid Congo and the Pink Monkey Birds. The Birds will also back up Thalia Zedek (ex-Come, Live Skull, Uzi, etc.) on a few Gun Club numbers (Zedek is the vocalist who reminds Kid most of Jeffrey Lee Pierce). Another highlight of the evening is the reunion of the original New York version of Congo Norvell – Kid, Sally Norvell (actress, ex-Norvells, Prohibition, etc.), Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Vanity Set, ex-Sonic Youth, Cramps, etc.), Paul Wallfisch (Botanica, ex-Firewater, Love and Rockets, etc.), and Brian Emrich (film composer, ex-Foetus, Toasters, etc.).
