It lies to the south of Poulton, west of Bromborough, and north of Cunningham Drive, Brookhurst. The urban edge of Poulton-Spital forms the northern boundary and the Wirral Line railway line forms the eastern boundary. The urban edge of Cunningham Drive, Brookhurst and Poulton Road form the southern and south-western boundaries respectively. Poulton Road also forms the western boundary. The area is situated in Clatterbrook and Dibbin Valley LCA, which forms part of the Lowland and Farmland Estates LCT. The eastern section of the area has an undulating landform, characterised by woodland, and open grassland. The western section of the area has a flat to gently sloping landform and comprises arable farmland. Landscape value This area is not subject to any landscape designations (national or local). However, part of Brotherton Park and Dibbinsdale within the eastern section of the area is a key feature that is valued for its wildlife and is designated as a Local Nature Reserve.
