Showgirl Homecoming Live is a live album by Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue from 2007. The album, which was released as a double CD, is Minogue's first record release since she became aware of her cancer in 2005. contents. background. After getting over cancer for the time being, Kylie Minogue was able to catch up on the concerts of the "Showgirl - The Greatest Hits Tour" in Australia, which were canceled in 2005. Under the title "Showgirl Homecoming Tour" the singer started in November 2006 on a concert tour through her home country. Subsequently, Minogue performed on New Year's Eve 2006 and on six other dates in January 2007 in London. The tour ended after six appearances in Manchester. The concept of the show has been completely revised and many songs have been rearranged. In addition to the singer's biggest hits and numerous reminiscences to other artists such as Madonna ( Vogue ) or Yazz ( The Only Way Is Up ), White Diamond was also a previously unreleased track. Like Minogue's hit single I Believe in You from 2004, this song was created in collaboration with the Scissor Sisters . Showgirl Homecoming Live was recorded at the second concert of the tour in Sydney in November 2006 . It includes a duet with U2 singer Bono , who sang the title Kids as a guest star with Minogue . HOMECOMING: THE LIVE ALBUM Album. Homecoming: The Live Album (stylized in all caps, or as HΘMΣCΘMING: THE LIVE ALBUM) is the fifth live album by American singer Beyoncé, released on April 17, 2019. Recorded in April 2018 at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, the album features the entirety of Beyoncé's performance at the festival, which has since been described as "historic" by a number of music critics and media outlets. Two bonus studio tracks – a cover of Maze's song "Before I Let Go" and "I Been On" – follow the live recording, bringing the album's length to just short of two hours. The album accompanied a concert film about the performance, Homecoming, which premiered the same day on the streaming platform Netflix. more » Share your thoughts about the HOMECOMING: THE LIVE ALBUM album with the community: Report Comment. As Easter 2005 approached, the travelling Gaither gospel show journeyed, logically enough, to the land where the whole story took place. Given the weighty expedition, it's no surprise that Bill & Gloria Gaither wound up hosting one of their most impressive gatherings yet. ISRAEL HOMECOMING is one of two collections (the other being JERUSALEM) capturing these concerts in the Holy Land. ISRAEL HOMECOMING opens on a reverent note with "Easter Song," a solemn tribute to the newly risen Christ. The album quickly shifts tone with David Phelps's playful country ballad "Second Fiddle," followed by a stirring rendition of the children's chorus classic "Awesome God." Throughout the record, there is a balance of sober respect and spirited jubilation. The group throws a bit of a klezmer feel into "Blow the Trumpet," and the Gaithers themselves carry the worshipful "Go Ask." Perhaps the most inspired moment of ISRAEL HOMECOMING is the pairing of "This Could Be the Dawning of That Day" with "Until Then," capturing the hope and patience (not to mention the fellowship) that are sacrosanct in the Gaither world. Album: Beyoncé – The Lion King: The Gift [Deluxe Edition] Beyoncé just dropped a new album titled The Lion King: The Gift (Deluxe Edition) which the artist decided to make a new impact in the music industry. 2.

Intimate Live Girls Benjamin Halligan Keywords: aura, intimacy, kissing, authenticity, liveness, social media, spectacle, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Terry Richardson, Peter Gabriel Abstract: The arena concert requires a particular type of liveness of performance in order to transcend impersonal mass entertainment. Liveness here looks to authenticity and happenstance, privileges personal communications and seeks to live in the moment, and in this way the live performance then meets and matches or even surpasses the virtual life of the artist or group. The concert must be both mass spectacle and an individual and singular experience for those witnessing and participating in it. Without these latter essential attributes, which can be read as the auratic and authentic replacing the virtual, the arena concert falls short of ontological expectations of live music. In recent years the mise-en-scène of the arena concert has become calibrated to female artists with, seemingly, a concomitant feminisation of the event. In this, the space is often given over to intimacy, empathy, and presented as an insight into the life, and even philosophy, of the performer.
