Enthüllungen Hickman • Yu THOR • IRON MAN • CAPTAIN AMERICA ™ ENTHÜLLUNGEN HICKMAN • YU AVENGERS, SAMMELN! von Christian Endres In den Zeitströmen und Parallelwelten des Marvel-Multiverse existieren einige übermächtige Wesen und Artefakte. Etwa der Gelehrte aus dem 30. Jahrhundert, der in die Zeit der Pharaonen zurückreiste und den man in diversen Inkarnationen kennt: als ewigen Zeitreisenden Kang, den Young Avenger Iron Lad und als Immortus, den Wächter der Zeit. Oder der Handschuh der Macht mit den Infinity-Steinen, dessen Träger über grenzenlose Macht verfügt. Zuletzt befanden sich alle Steine im Besitz der Illuminati, die sich damals aus Iron Man Tony Stark, Inhumans-König Black Bolt, Sub-Mariner Namor, Mr. Fantastic Reed Richards, Wakandas Champion Black Panther, Meisterzauberer Dr. Strange, Mutan- ten-Genie Beast und Captain America Steve Rogers zusammensetzten. Gemeinsam musste sich die Illuminati mit dem kosmischen Phänomen der Inkursionen beschäftigen – ein Phänomen, bei dem zwei Parallelwelten kollidieren, was eine Welt unweigerlich mit dem Untergang bezahlt. Cap nutzte den Handschuh und wendete eine Inkursion ab, doch gingen die Steine dabei verloren. Deshalb besprachen die Illuminati, dass sie künftig womöglich andere Welten vernichten müssten, um die ihre zu retten. Steve sagte, dass er niemals so weit gehen würde – also warfen die Illuminati ihn raus, und Dr. Strange löschte Caps Erinnerungen an die ganze Episode. Ultimate Wolverine vs. HulkBy BrandonFrom what I gather this story takes place alongside or after the events in the Ultimates 2. I would be inclined to say after the Ultimates 2 but I haven't read the Ultimates 2 in quite a while. This was a very interesting story dare I say, a rather unique look at two of the unstoppable if not indestructible characters in the Marvel universe. Ironically both of these characters shared the scene when Wolverine himself was introduced in the comics. But overall I was very mixed on this story. It straddled the fence between an interesting personal journey for both of these characters and a juvenile comedy in many instances. There are moments where the writer could have definitely delved into these characters with symbolism and very deep character moments but right when these moments occur and you can see the parallels, it seems as though a little kid takes over writing and sprays cringe worthy dialogue and furrowed brow scenes that could almost make you laugh but you are too confused to laugh.
