Evgenia Vanadzina Keywords: smart meters, benefit, electricity market, cost-benefit analysis. Smart metering technologies have become more popular in Europe. The benefits of smart metering are obvious both for different stakeholders, and for the whole energy system. Cost-benefit analysis of smart metering system was implemented for all European countries. However, there is no similar analysis for Russian electricity market. This work aims to consider specific features of electricity market in Russia and conduct a cost-benefit analysis for residential customers from the guaranteeing supplier point of view. Main costs were defined as capital and operational expenditures and main benefits as a profit from demand response, which led to peak demand reduction and decrease in guaranteeing supplier expenses. Results suggest that smart metering system implementation is not economically justified in Russia. However, it can be implemented optionally or subsidized. 2 Table of content 1. The results of practical studies that reveal the contradictory nature of the value orientations of various demographic groups in the Krasnoyarsk Territory are considered. Conclusions about the current situation of this field of knowledge in the largest region of Siberia – both in the scientific community and in the public sphere are made. We analyze the dynamics underpinning the Russian Bitcoin mining industry. Russia’s Siberian region houses the dominant share of the country’s mining facilities. A significant energy surplus from advanced hydropower infrastructure in the region enables miners to secure extremely competitive electricity rates. A federal law passed in 2020 clearly defines Bitcoin mining as an economic activity but will require entities to operate in a specific manner. Mining hardware that will be used for proprietary mining must be owned in the name of a foreign entity.

Variability of conch morphology in a cephalopod species from the Cambrian to Ordovician transition strata of Siberia. Acta Palaeontologica Polonica 65 (1): 149–165. A block of stromatolitic limestone found on the Angara River shore near Kodinsk, Siberia, derived from the exposed nearby Ust-kut Formation, has yielded a sample of 146 ellesmeroceratid nautiloid specimens. A minor contribution to the fossil assemblage from bellerophontid and hypseloconid molluscs suggests a restricted abnormal salinity environment. The associated shallow-water low diversity assemblage of the conodonts Laurentoscandodus triangularis and Utahconus(?) eurypterus indicates an age close to the Furongian–Tremadocian boundary. Echinoderm sclerites, trilobite carapaces, and hexactinellid sponge spicules were found in another block from the transitional strata between the Ust-kut and overlying ter- rigenous Iya Formation; these fossils indicate normal marine salinity. The conodont L. triangularis is there associated with Semiacontiodus iowensis and Cordylodus angulatus. This means that the stromatolitic strata with cephalopods are older than the early Tremadocian C. angulatus Zone but not older than the Furongian C. proavus Zone. The sample of nautiloid specimens extracted from the block shows an unimodal variability in respect to all recognizable aspects of their morphol- ogy. The material is probably conspecific with the poorly known Ruthenoceras elongatum from the same strata and region. Its banks were subjected to detailed archaeological surveys whose ¿ ndings were integrated into cultural and chronological models. Because most of the Angara has become part of a system of arti¿ cial reservoirs, we are unable to test these models using new planigraphic and stratigraphic information concerning all the riverside archaeological sites. In 2014, we carried out an in-depth archaeological survey of a 115-kilometer stretch of the northern Angara bank between the Boguchany Dam and the village of Boguchany. Survey results were supplemented by archival data. The ancient habitation layer was found to extend over a large area of the Angara terrace. Artifacts have tended to accumulate in weakly strati¿ ed parts of the subaerial complex. Known archaeological sites span the period from the Neolithic to the Late Iron Age. Ein Treffen von Absolventen rundet diese Programmwoche ab. Die Fakultät Maschinenbau, Elektro- und Energiesysteme entstand 2016 im Zuge der Neustrukturierung der Fakultäten der BTU CS nach ihrer Neugründung im Jahre 2013. Sie ging aus den Vorgängerfakultäten Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik und Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen am Campus Cottbus und der Fakultät für Ingenieurwissenschaften am Campus Senftenberg hervor. Hier sind jetzt die Kompetenzen des Maschinenbau und der Elektro- und Energietechnik vereint. Der Austausch mit Wissenschaftler aus anderen Ländern wird als Tradition an beiden Standorten gelebt. Neben dem Empfang von Wissenschaftlern und Studierenden gehört auch der Besuch in den jeweiligen Ländern dazu. Mit der Gründung des internationalen Netzwerkes neseff im Jahr 2015 in Baku entstand ein Netzwerk, das sich mit seinen Schwerpunkten Energieerzeugung und Energieeffizienz mit bedeutenden und zentralen Fragen der modernen Volkswirtschaften auf breitem Gebiet beschäftigt. Es hat seine Heimstatt im IURS e.V., einem An-Institut der BTU CS. Die Tatsache, dass weitere osteuropäische Universitäten dem Netzwerk beitreten werden, stärkt das Netzwerk und seine Akteure.

Bryukhanova Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering SB RAS 50/45 Akademgorodok, Krasnoyarsk, 660036, Russia Received 24.05.2019, received in revised form 04.06.2019, accepted 07.06.2019 The article studies the peculiarities of spatial peculiarities of the northern areas of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, using three approaches: latitudinal (north- south), longitudinal (west-east) and the development type (intensive, extensive or nature preserving). Each of the approaches characterizes certain aspects of the regional policy aimed at the northern territories. The analysis reveals the main tendencies and trends in the prospective development of the northern areas, and facilitates formulation of the issues that require a regulatory- legal and organizational- administerial consideration. It is concluded that there is a need for a differentiated regional policy concerning separate zones of the northern territories and also on expediency of consideration of the northern macroregion as an independent strategic planning subject at the regional level.
