    Nissan West Europe SAS NISSAN REMPORTE LE PUS GRAND CHAMPIONNAT GT AU MONDE · Alex Buncombe, Katsumasa Chiyo et Wolfgang Reip enlèvent le titre pilotes PRO en Blancpain Endurance Series lors de la dernière manche au Nürburgring. 20 septembre 2015 : l'équipage de la Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 n°23 formé par Alex Buncombe (GB), Katsumasa Chiyo (JAP) et Wolfgang Reip (BEL) a remporté le titre pilotes de la catégorie PRO du championnat Blancpain Endurance Series 2015 grâce à la troisième place obtenue au Nürburgring. Cette dernière manche 2015 concluait un championnat âprement disputé et considéré le plus relevé au monde dans cette discipline. Nissan avait déjà enlevé le titre européen en GT4 et plus récemment le PRO AM en Blancpain Endurance Series. Cette année, l'écurie Nissan GT Academy Team RJN disputait pour la première fois le titre dans la catégorie PRO et elle a donc réussi l'exploit de gagner dès ses débuts. Les pilotes Nissan ont bien entamé cette dernière manche en signant un deuxième temps en qualifications avec Alex Buncombe et la pole position en PRO AM (8eme au général) brillamment enlevée par Gaëtan Paletou (FRA). Quand le feu est passé au vert, la Nissan GT-R Always Evolving n°173, conduite par Craig Dolby a pris la tête après avoir plongé dans la ligne intérieure tandis que Katsumasa Chiyo est sorti quatrième du premier virage. A la fin du premier tour, la voiture n° 23 était toujours quatrième et la n°22 dixième. Katsumasa Chiyo a réussi à remonter à la troisième place quelques minutes plus tard.
