And also Ph.D. degree completed at Anadolu University, in May 1986. His researches are dealt with distance education application of Anadolu University, Ministry of Education and by other universities in Turkey. His researches on Communicational gaps of distance education students with their institution, also interest also lies towards the profile of DE students, and relationship of graduates and job market in Turkey. He is also interested about changing of ethical behaviors around the world by inserting technological developments to the educational field especially Distance education applications on marketing of distance education programmes and e-learning. In addition, his studies are focused on Distance Education field and scholarly online journalism especially on DE. He has an extensive experience publishing e-journal on distance education internationally under the patronage Anadolu University since 10 years, named, TOJDE-Turkish Online Journal for Distance Education. TOJDE is a peer-reviewed quarterly e-journal. He is also an editor, consultant editor, reviewer for more than 15 international journals which are deal with distance education and educational technology. In addition, he has responsibilities on advisory boards and as referee for conferences, symposiums, and panels. He has co-authored and individually contributed chapters in some Turkish and international books. Up to now he has around 15 imprint or eBooks dealt with distance education and many articles, which has been published national and international journals. Prof. Dr. Gülsün KURUBACAK, Anadolu University, Turkey Gulsun Kurubacak is an associate professor in applied communication at the College of Open Education of Anadolu University. She has over twenty years experience in focusing on the democratic and multicultural aspects of distance education; finding new answers, viewpoints and explanations to online communication problems through critical pedagogy; and improving learner critical thinking skills through project-based online learning. She continues to manage and provide pedagogical support for a distance learning program, train distance learning facilitators, develop distance programs and courses at remote locations, explore additional distance learning media, and assist colleagues in other project management duties related to distance education. Lounaskorpi has worked a number of years in different distance education projects in different capacities. Lounaskorpi has been consulting a wide number of Finnish and international companies and organizations in the design of their learning, information and performance systems. He has iv worked in this sector, among others, for projects at Central Finlands educational system ( secondary level ) and the Finnish Tax Admistration. Her research focuses especially on organizational change management and leadership when eLearning methods are used in teaching, learning and working. She has more than 25 years of experience in the learning design and development fields and public-private partnership co-operation. She is actively involved in development projects for example online pedagogical research and development at the Finnish Online University of Applied Sciences and Active citizen of the open learning environment. She has presented at many conferences, and has written many articles, and book chapters concerning e-Learning, e-mentoring, e-Working and Leadership. His research interests are Educational Theories, Instructional Design, Internet Based Distance Education, Individual differences in Education and Profiles of Students, Instructional Design, Mobile Learning and ICT use in Education. He has articles and symposium proceedings in both national and international levels on the subjects such as Computer Ethics, Evaluation of Educational Books, Changing Profiles of Students with ICT Use, Instructional Design, Educational Theories, Educational Evaluation, Internet Based Distance Education, Meta–analysis and Nano- Learning. He had the responsibilities on organizing committees in educational conferences and symposiums in both national and international levels. He did his Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) from the School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad.Later on he specialised in the Area of Distance Education by completing Post Graduation Diploma in Distance Education (PGDDE) and Master of Arts in Distance Education (MADE) from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. He was awarded Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D) for his Thesis on vi “Administration of Student Support Services in Distance Education: A Case Study of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University”. During his more than 20 years of service in IGNOU, he worked in four Regional Centres at Shimla, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Pune. Initially he joined as a Lecturer in Pubic Administration and later on he became the Assistant Regional Director and Deputy Director and at present he is heading a Regional Centre as the Regional Director. As an active academic researcher, his research articles are published in the National and International referred Journals in the area of Open and Distance Education. He is one of the reviewers for Indian Journal of Open Learning (IJOL) and Kakatiya Journal of Distance Education (KJDE). He contributed chapters to books and Associate Editor to a book on “Distance Education in Andhra Pradesh: Policies, Practices, Perspectives”. He participated in National and International Seminars and attended many Workshops. He also organised and coordinated more than 50 Orientation Programmes for the Academic Counselors and Functionaries for ensuring quality support services to the learners. He has been actively involved in the activities of professional organisations in the field of Distance Education and Public Administration as a Life Member in Indian Distance Education Association (IDEA) and New Public Administration Society of India (NEPASI) and as a Secretary of Indian Distance Education Association (2006-07). Academically he had many distinctions like University First Rank in M. A. Public Administration, Awarded Junior Research Fellowship
