Padma Quila The Padma Palace (also referred to as Padma Fort) of Ramgarh Raj is located at Padma. The Shivgarh gate is one of its main attractions. There is a photo gallery displaying the history of Ramgarh Raj. The boundary wall and the main gate are on the Patna-Ranchi highway. It’s sculpted, carved and carries little domes on its pillars. The main gate of the national park at Pokharia is 21 km from Barhi, 16 km from Hazaribag and about 89 km from Ranchi. It was established in 1955. This place has a famous temple dedicated to Goddess Chhinnamastika and has idols of Maa Kali, Lord Hanuman and Ashtdhari. During the occasion of Makar Sankranti a grand fair is organized here. Canary Hill It is about 3 Km. from Hazaribag town. There is a post office on top of the mountain. There is another mountain near this mountain. From here, complete view of Hazaribag can be seen. There are several hills in Hazaribag, in which the Canary Mountains are the chief. It is a beautiful picnic spot and it can be visited in any season. There is a forest around the hill and the chance of wild animals can be seen at night. The lake is also under construction under the hill. Tilaiya Dam, Koderma It is the first Dam and hydro -Electric power station constructed by Damodar Valley Corporation across Barakar River, in Koderma district. The dam is 1200 ft long and 99 ft high situated in an ideal surrounding with a beautiful reservoir in 36 sq km area.
