Hi Chris and Adam, This is a tough email for me to send but I wanted to let you know that Logan has decided to opt out of RAPS. He’s focused on racing quarter midgets and a lot of times that is going to involve travel which will make getting back into town for Sunday RAPS difficult. It was a really hard decision for him to make.

I can’t thank you both enough for your time, patience, and efforts around Karting Camp and the RAPS league. Sending Logan to camp changed everything for him. He found his confidence at Rush Hour- and he carries that with him in racing and in school. He also found his passion- we’re not sure what the future holds for him in racing but he wants to find out so we’re going to support him in chasing his dream. We still plan to come in and race for fun from time to time and are looking forward to the new facility in Morrisville.

I hope this next season goes well and we’ll see you soon!

Michael and I visited your facility Friday and karted for several sessions. We brought our own gear but were impressed to see the professionalism of your staff when it came to wiping the karts down after every use, using face masks, plexiglass shields and overall precautions. We had a great time and felt far more safe than going to the grocery store. I am sure that Kate and I agree that this is a more than safe opportunity for Michael to do what he enjoys in the company of other kids while being in a safe environment. PIVOTING TO FIGHT HUNGER: Amidst the COVID-19 fallout that continues to unfold, TBJ Plus is hearing a lot of positive news about companies pivoting their business models to help those in need. Such is the case at Garner’s Rush Hour Karting.

When the pandemic started affecting the day-to-day operations of the indoor go-kart track, owner Adam Saad and his staff started providing free lunches to children. Before the two-week effort wrapped up on March 28 after supplies ran out, Saad and his team were able to distribute nearly 700 meals.

“Every person that came here has been so thrilled and happy, and we even fed the parents,” Saad says. “Some people picked up 10 or more plates. We don’t question anyone, just provide a hot meal, as many as they want! The smiles on their faces when they leave, really does mean the world to me.”

Saad had to close up shop March 30 due to the governor’s stay-at-home order, but he’s keeping his full-time staff on the payroll, he says, adding that he will use this closure to do some deep cleaning and make repairs to the facility. Rush Hour Karting Testimonials page 13 of 300

…for our group of 16, we all had a great time and I had multiple people tell me it was the best team building event we’ve done. For health reasons we had some people that didn’t drive, but they still had fun watching the races and taking pictures!

The staff throughout the facility were all very nice and friendly.

We raised $2,830 which is going to help us provide complete wrap around services for 10 children experiencing homelessness for one year. This means connecting them to child care, help with all their educational, mental health and medical needs, summer camp and afterschool care, and programs such as bullying workshops, art therapy and more. We work really hard to help get them to better places and we are grateful for your support in enabling us to do just that!

From what I am told everyone had a great time! We had an amazing an incredible time. I can't tell you how many Smiles I saw, and believe it or not, I think the adults had a better time than the kids! Yes, I heard many complaints about being sore. Me and my trainees had a great time. Your staff was fantastic and helpful! This is the second time I have had some of my young ones out for a team building activity and they all had fun. I am just a fan of karting so it was a natural for me but especially this time of year when outdoor activities are limited this is a great option.

I thought the event was perfect. There was competitiveness, but also cheering for each other as well. The trophies were cool (except that I didn’t win!). The staff at Rush Hour Karting were enthusiastic and it was nice that we didn’t have to go to another place to eat after.

Thank you to both you and Bruce for organizing and allowing us to do this. I was not feeling well going into it that day, but in the end was so glad I attended.

I enjoy hanging with my teammates outside of the office and trying to get to know folks a little better, without work hanging over us. One point of recommendation: We should have eaten first. Jason did have to have some stitches, and he had a broken thumb; but he is doing well, and had planned to have the rest of the year off starting last Friday, so that gives him time to heal and be better. We have a “Wounded Warrior” certificate and gift card that we will be giving him to commemorate his sacrifice to the good of the greater team. LOL!

And, Oh… btw… my husband said the Pumpkin Spice cake was AWESOME!!! And my son ate every last bit of the BBQ I brought home! So please tell you Mom thank you for me again. Adam, Everything last night was outstanding. We were very pleased with the service from your team. All of my guests had drinks and the guys working the carts were outstanding as well. We were pleased with the food as well although I did learn that people were so excited racing that many of them didn’t eat. It must have been the adrenalin rush!

My only suggestion would be mentioning that no one could race with open toed shoes, but it was great that you had tennis shoes available so we didn’t have any issues.

We’ll be back with our Nu Image team soon.

Stewart Scott from ESPN gets into the racing action at Rush Hour Karting on December 29, 2011, for a Charity event.

Stewart passed away in 2015 after a long hard battle with Cancer. He was an inspiration to us all, and a pioneer in the world of sports broadcasting that changed sports from the fan’s perspective forever. He was an inspiration to the athletes, as well as to the fans, and will always be remembered for his persona, his fight, his words, and his character.

I am honored that he made a presence in Rush Hour, and we got to hear from him, and he got to battle it out on our karts in the name of fun, and fund raising.

Stewart was as “Cool as the other side of the pillow!”

Thank you, Tamer took care of us. Your team did a good job of managing the racing process as well as providing the food and beverages. I think my VP was impressed and I know we have a lot more people over here. I hope more teams will try this out. I will add that I took the very last car in the field, team 10, thinking a team at the front would win. But I guess the guys I picked were good drivers and I think our car was pretty fast (we didn’t have the fastest lap though). We went from 10th to 3rd after the first driver, then 3rd to 1st after the second driver gave me the car. So we then were able to put a lap on the field, then we put two laps by the end of the race. Some of my management peers felt like I got the “hot” car as result of me booking the event, so that added to the fun. ☺ Thank you again.

Last night was great... The staff was very helpful in both the restaurant as well as the track (both nights). In fact, both nights I was impressed by the guys on the track. I wasn't expecting what I would have considered a level of professionalism but I got it!

We did have a great time and much conversation around the 'watercooler' at work the next day! This was the second time that I have arranged a group event for some folks from CARQUEST. I'm sure that there will be another opportunity for an event…

Actually, I do have some feedback. One, we like the improvements that have been made since last time we were there. The banners and advertising around the track really add to the 'racetrack' atmosphere. Second, it's great that you have Cinelli's there now for dining options!

We love the Grand Prix format and the amount of racing that provides us and don't want to change that.
