Lewis President - Raleigh DRB Group Dan Ryan Builders; Elevate Homes; Fielding Homes Rush Hour Karting Testimonials page 4 of 300 From: Amanda Sulyi (SUMMER CAMPER PARENT) Sent: Sunday, September 20, 2020 10:11 AM Hi Chris and Adam, This is a tough email for me to send but I wanted to let you know that Logan has decided to opt out of RAPS. He’s focused on racing quarter midgets and a lot of times that is going to involve travel which will make getting back into town for Sunday RAPS difficult. It was a really hard decision for him to make. I can’t thank you both enough for your time, patience, and efforts around Karting Camp and the RAPS league. Sending Logan to camp changed everything for him. He found his confidence at Rush Hour- and he carries that with him in racing and in school. He also found his passion- we’re not sure what the future holds for him in racing but he wants to find out so we’re going to support him in chasing his dream. We still plan to come in and race for fun from time to time and are looking forward to the new facility in Morrisville. I hope this next season goes well and we’ll see you soon! Thanks, Amanda Rush Hour Karting Testimonials page 5 of 300 From: Laura Zohn (SUMMER CAMPER PARENT) Sent: Friday, July 3, 2020 8:24 AM Hey , Adam! Eleanor is having a great time at Rush Hour! We brought our own gear but were impressed to see the professionalism of your staff when it came to wiping the karts down after every use, using face masks, plexiglass shields and overall precautions. We had a great time and felt far more safe than going to the grocery store. I am sure that Kate and I agree that this is a more than safe opportunity for Michael to do what he enjoys in the company of other kids while being in a safe environment. You have been very transparent and accommodating which is very much appreciated. Michael is looking forward to the experience and all that he may learn. PIVOTING TO FIGHT HUNGER: Amidst the COVID-19 fallout that continues to unfold, TBJ Plus is hearing a lot of positive news about companies pivoting their business models to help those in need. Such is the case at Garner’s Rush Hour Karting. When the pandemic started affecting the day-to-day operations of the indoor go-kart track, owner Adam Saad and his staff started providing free lunches to children. Before the two-week effort wrapped up on March 28 after supplies ran out, Saad and his team were able to distribute nearly 700 meals. “Every person that came here has been so thrilled and happy, and we even fed the parents,” Saad says. “Some people picked up 10 or more plates. We don’t question anyone, just provide a hot meal, as many as they want! The smiles on their faces when they leave, really does mean the world to me.” Saad had to close up shop March 30 due to the governor’s stay-at-home order, but he’s keeping his full-time staff on the payroll, he says, adding that he will use this closure to do some deep cleaning and make repairs to the facility. Rush Hour Karting Testimonials page 13 of 300 ***During the Pandemic outbreak of COVID-19 (Corona Virus), All schools were shut down. Which meant thousands of kids that were used to getting free or reduced lunches, received no food. So, Rush Hour stepped up, and served FREE lunches to anyone that called, and as many plates as they needed, with no questions asked. IN the 2 weeks of March 17th to March 27th, RH gave away about 700 meals to families in need.*** Rush Hour Karting Testimonials page 14 of 300 From: Dixon Sr, Tre' (First Citizens Bank & Trust) Sent: Thursday, February 13, 2020 9:17 AM Hey Adam, I want to say that it was a great experience!!! A move consists of moving a token across an edge of the matching color to an unoccupied vertex and reversing the orientation of that edge. The goal is to move a token across a target edge. We show that it is PSPACE-complete to determine whether a particular target edge can be moved across through a sequence of Oriented Subway Shuffle moves. We show how this can be interpreted in the context of the motion-planning-through-gadgets framework, thus showing PSPACE-completeness of certain motion planning problems. In contrast, we show that polynomial time suffices to determine whether a particular token canever move.
