We are happy to announce that our readership is increasing day by day. For a journal examining the topics of EFL/ESL, Literature and Translation studies, the growth and readership has been pleasing. Our bi-monthly Journal has attracted many readers not only from the Middle East but also from different parts of the world. In this third edition, we have presented thirty articles, discussing different issues of EFL/ESL, literature and translation studies. In the first article of the issue, Acquisition of Grammar through Consciousness- raising: A case of Relative Clauses is studied by Fatemeh Hemmati and Amin Khanjani. In the second article of the issue, Biook Behnam and Nahid Zarei have studied Facework and Disagreements in Computer Mediated Discourse Between Native and Non-native Speakers. In the third article of the issue, Roozbeh Arabi, Mohsen Masoomi and Adel Dastgoshadeh presented Investigating the Perceptions of Iranian Undergraduate EFL Students toward the Role of Literature in Their Success in Learning English Language. In the next article, 4- The Translation Construedby Students in Translator Training Programs in Iran is presented by Masood Khoshsaligheh and Zahra Salari. In the fifth article of the issue, Ahmad Mohseni and Marziyeh Rabiee have presented The Relationship between Socioeconomic Status and Language Learning Strategies of Iranian EFL Learners. The next article which is Application of Newmark's strategies to the translation of culture-specific items in Boofe Koor and Dash Akol is done by Masoud Sharififar and Narjes Rezaaeefar.

It traces the trajectory of “Naya [New] Kashmir,” a leftist manifesto of the National Conference (NC). The NC was a secular nationalist Kashmiri political party that came to power in the state in 1947, in the aftermath of Partition and the accession of Kashmir to India. This dissertation recuperates the relevance of Naya Kashmir during the rule of Bakshi Ghulam Mohammed (1953-63), the second Prime Minister of the state. Naya Kashmir originated as a progressive project of state and socio-cultural reform, emanating from the particular context of the Jammu and Kashmir princely state in the late colonial period.

At present the Turkmen speaking population of Afghanistan is estimated to make up close to two million. The Turkmen language, which belongs to the South Western or Oghuz group of the Turkic languages, has for centuries been present in the region which is today North Afghanistan but due to various historical reasons has not only not kept pace with the development of some of its neighboring languages, but has even been reduced to the condition of an illiterate idiom which includes a number of dialects but is not united by a shared standard language. The Teke dialect, which in the Republic of Turkmenistan forms the basis of today's standard state language, features among the Afghan Turkmen dialects, but speakers of the Ä:rsarı dialect by far outnumber those of the Teke dialects in Afghanistan. Along with these two most prominent idioms, roughly half a dozen distinct Turkmen dialects are represented on Afghan soil today.
