SYDNEY JAMBOREE- TEAM APP GUIDE Still having a little trouble getting on to Team App? Here is your step by step guide to mastering Team App!

Every participant, both youth and adult, will be sent an email to their Group’s ‘Team App’ to the email entered into the ‘Sydney Jamboree 2018 database’. This will give you automatic access to the information for that related group. (You will need to download the app to your phone, computer or tablet or view the website – www.teamapp.com) If you do not receive this email, you can follow the following steps to access the team app for your group. (These steps can also be followed for other emails than those registered on the database)

1. Download Team App from the Apple Store (iPhone) or Play Store (Android) depending on your device.

2. Create an account for Team App.

3. Next, Tap on the search icon (magnifying glass) and type in your group. - SJ – Sydney Harbour Group - SJ – Georges River Group - SJ – Parramatta River Group - SJ – Cooks River Group - SJ – Woronora River Group - SJ – Nepean River Group - SJ – Lane Cove River Group

4. Once searched for your group it should give you a result like below. Click on the group.

5. Once loaded you will see your home screen! Up the top of the screen click on the “Become member” link. This will open another page with a list of different participate options. You will then click on the Subcamp/Patrol you are in.

6. You will be asked to select your ‘access group’. This will be your sub camp. Leaders - You can request to be on more than one access group.

7. This will then require you to enter some details. About yourself; Name, Email and Phone number (Phone number is option) and a description. You can include a SHORT hello message in the box which looks like the one below.

8. Your request will then be submitted, be patient and someone will approve you. Once approved you will have access to everything on your Group’s Team App. Make sure you have a look at all the different tabs and make yourself familiar with the page.

Want to send a message or chat with an access group, private message with another member, Group Leader or Sub-Camp Leader? Follow the following steps.

1) Open your team app and click on the ‘Chat’ link in the bottom icons (or at the top if using the computer)

2) You can either add to a chat that has already been created, or make your own.

3) To make your new chat – click the “+” at the top right corner.

4) Pick your required setting – private message or access group. Then search for the person you would like to talk to.

5) Chat away!

Please be mindful of your comments and language when chatting on group and access chats.
