The lesser wendigo is an undead creature that fell victim to a wendigo in life. In general, the lesser wendigo superficially resembles the person it was in life - it has scraps of clothing and armor and even though it may have a weapon in a sheath, it never uses it. Lesser wendigos have gray skin when they first rise, but it turns an inky black over time. The first time a lesser wendigo feeds on humanoid flesh, black antlers sprout from its head. The more it feeds, the bigger the antlers grow.
