Beitrag zur Kenntnis der Kleinschmetterlinge (Microlepidoptera) von Štajersko und Koroško in Slowenien Tone LESAR1 & Heinz HABELER2 1 Ciril-Metodova 6, SI-2000 Maribor 2 Auersperggasse 19, A-8010 Graz Zusammenfassung. Für die Regionen Štajersko und Koroško in Slowenien werden alle erreichbar gewesenen Funddaten über die Familiengruppe der sogenannten Kleinschmetterlinge wiedergegeben. Der zeitliche Rahmen der Daten erstreckt sich von Literaturzitaten um 1864 bis zu aktuellen Bestandsaufnahmen von 2005. Es werden 909 Arten behandelt (zusammen mit Synonymen, Unterarten und Formen sind 1064 Taxa angegeben), weitere sieben Arten können nicht zum sicheren Bestand gerechnet werden und sind deshalb nur im Kapitel Kommentare und Diskussion erwähnt. Die 4640 Funddaten stammen von 227 konkret genannten Fundorten, was eine erhebliche geografische Streuung für das cca 6000 km² große Untersuchungsgebiet bedeutet. Schlüsselworte: Styria, Carinthia, Slowenien, Mikrolepidoptera, Funddaten. Izvleček. PRISPEVEK K POZNAVANJU METULJČKOV (MICROLEPIDOPTERA) ŠTAJERSKE IN KOROŠKE V SLOVENIJI. Za Štajersko in Koroško v Sloveniji so navedeni vsi dosegljivi podatki o najdbah takoimenovanih metuljčkih (mikrolepidoptera). Časovni razpon podatkov sega od časa okrog 1864 do 2005. Obravnavano je 909 vrst metuljčkov (skupaj s sinonimi, podvrstami in formami je navedeno 1064 taksonov), nadaljnjih sedem vrst ne moremo šteti kot zanesljivo prisotne in so zato navedene samo v poglavju komentarji in diskusija. 4640 podatkov je z 227 konkretno imenovanih lokacij, kar predstavlja znatno geografsko razpršenost za ca. 6000 km2 veliko obravnavano področje. Szafer Institute of Botany, Polish Academy of Sciences, Lubicz 46, 31-512 Kraków, Poland Abstract Coronilla vaginalis Lam., a Central European montane species, is reported for the first time from Poland, from the Tatra Mountains. A general map of the taxon’s distribution is given, and the location of the newly recorded stand is shown on a map of Poland and the Tatra National Park. Its habitat, calcareous grassland of the order Seslerietalia, is characterized in detail. They are assumed to be formed from homo-glutathi- one and are termed homo-phytochelatins, as they are homologous to the recently discovered phytochelatins. These peptides are induced by a number of metals such as CdZ+, Zn*+, HgZ+, Pb2+, AsOd2- and others. They are assumed to detoxify poisonous heavy metals and to be involved in metal homeostasis. Lassen subsp. orientalis Jahn Similar species Vicia Summary Coronilla varia is a perennial herb with creeping stems that may reach 0.6 - 2 metres. It is tolerant of drought, heavy precipitation, and cold temperatures, but it is intolerant of shade. C. varia is adapted to all coarse and medium textured soils, but it does not grow well in fine textured, saline, and alkaline soils. It reproduces prolifically and spreads rapidly via creeping rhizomes. In the United States C. varia has been extensively planted for erosion control along many roads and other disturbed areas. It has also been widely planted for ground cover on steep banks, mine reclamation, and as a cover crop on cropland. view this species on IUCN Red List Species Description VDCR/VNPS (UNDATED) describes C. varia, a member of the pea family, as a perennial herb with creeping stems that may reach 0.6 - 2m in length. The compound leaves bear 15 to 25 leaflets. The pea-like, pink to white flowers occur in clusters at the end of extended stalks. The narrow, leathery seedpods may be 5 - 8cm long. The following three characteristics together distinguish C. Varia from other legumes: its compound leaves have an odd number of leaflets, the leaves and flower stalks arise from the main stem, and the flowers occur in a radiating cluster called an umbel. -

Etymology: Apios is Greek for “pear”; the plant was named such because of its pear-shaped tubers. Americana means “American” (3, 7, 17). Botanical synonyms: Apios tuberosa (4), Glycine apios (14). Habitat PreFerence: A. americana can grow in partial or no shade (5). It prefers low and moist woods, thickets, stream and riverbanks, ponds, marshes, meadows, and wet ravines (1, 4). Geographic Distribution in Michigan: Located in 32 counties of the Lower Peninsula, nearly all in the southern half, and in Mackinac, Delta, and Menominee counties of the Upper Peninsula (1). Known Elevational Distribution: Groundnut can be found cultivated up to elevations of 1000m (16). Complete Geographic Distribution: Native to the eastern United and Canada. A. americana is found in every state east of and including Colorado, and in Quebec and Ontario in Canada (14). -
