The Real Protector Hare Krishna Dear Devotees, Please Accept My
The Real Protector Date: 2005-01-19 Author: Shyam Sundara das Hare Krishna dear devotees, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudev. While I was passing through many temples of demigods viz., Siva, Anjaneya, Ganesha and Goddess Durga and so on, I got confused as to whom I should really surrender and pray for any benediction. By the mercy of Lord Krishna when I opened SB 10.2.26, my doubt got vanquished miraculously and the Lord's merciful answer is elucidated below through His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada: "Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary." Worship of demigods may be useful for a limited time, but the result is antavat, perishable. This material world is impermanent, the demigods are impermanent, and the benedictions derived from the demigods are also impermanent, whereas the living entity is eternal (nityo nityānaam cetanas cetanānām). Every living entity, therefore, must search for eternal happiness, not temporary happiness, The word 'satyam param dhīmahi' indicate that one should search for the Absolute Truth, not the relative truth. While offering prayers to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Nrsimhadeva, Prahlad Maharaja said "bālasya neha śaraṇaṁ pitarau nṛsiṁha nārtasya cāgadam udanvati majjato nauḥ" Generally it is understood that the protectors for a child are his parents, but this is not actually the fact. The real protector is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. " taptasya tat-pratividhir ya ihāñjaseṣṭas tāvad vibho tanu-bhṛtāṁ tvad-upekṣitānām" - If neglected by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, a child, despite the presence of his parents, will suffer, and a patient, despite all medical help, will die. -

Compass Points News for the Public Purchasers Association of Northern Ohio Volume Two • Issue Seven • June 9, 2016
Compass Points News for the Public Purchasers Association of Northern Ohio Volume Two • Issue Seven • June 9, 2016 “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” ~Albert Einstein I think it has been crazy up in here for quite some time already… our Cleveland Cavaliers are in a do-or-die struggle with the defending champion Golden State Warriors in the most anticipated REMATCH in a long time and you must sense the importance of it, both from an economical and sporting level. Our own Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League, the minor league affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL, posted a 14-2 record in route to the Calder Cup Championship series against the Hershey Bears, and as of this printing hold a 3-0 advantage with game 4 in Cleveland on Saturday night and in one short month, from July 18-21, an estimated 50,000 delegates, media and visitors will assemble in Cleveland, at the same venue that the Cavs and Monsters riled up the Cleveland populace, Quicken Loans Arena, more affectionately called “the Q” , for the 2016 Republican National Convention. In addition to the prestige of holding such an event, it is expected to generate in excess of $400 million to the local economy and, who knows what might happen with Mr. Trump leading the charge as the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party for President of the United States. Tell me something, Northern Ohio Public Procurement professional… what have you been doing lately?? You can bet that Public Procurement folks in Northern Ohio are feeling the pressure to secure and plan and provide the necessary goods, supplies and services to stroke an eager, boisterous crowd that will be converging on Northern Ohio, in the eyes of the world, to be part of the history that is about to unfold. -

INTRODUCTION. -:o:- ^HE superiority of the ancient Hindus in metaphysical and theological disquisitions has been established beyond all doubts. Our literature abounds in trca- Polity: its The science Of ^ ^^^^^^ for philosophical discus- sions, sound reasonings and subtle inferences regarding many momentous problems of existence, have not been beaten down by the modern age of culture and enlighten- ment. The world has all along been considered by the ancient Hindu writers as a flood-gate of miseries of existence, and the summum bonum of human existence is, in their view, the unification of the humanity with the divinity. The chief aim of all the ancient writers of India has been to solve the mighty problem, namely, the cessation of miseries of existence and the attainment of the God-head. Admitting their exalted superiority in matters of philosophical and theological speculation, some people of the present generation boldly launch the theory that our literature lacks in works which may serve as a guidance of practical life. To disabuse the popular mind of this perilous misconception, we might safely assert that Hindu writers paid no less attention to practical morals and politics. -

O Kṛṣṇ a, You are unlimited, and although we sometimes think of ourselves as royal kings and rulers of the world and become puffed up over our paltry positions, we are very poor in heart. Actually, we are fit to be punished by You, but the wonder is that instead of punishing us, You so kindly and mercifully accept our orders and carry them out properly. Others are very surprised that Your Lordship can play the part of an ordinary human, but we can understand that You are performing these activities just like a dramatic artist. Your real position is always exalted, exactly like that of the sun, which always remains at the same temperature both during the time of its rising and the time of its setting. Although we feel the difference in temperature between the rising and the setting sun, the temperature of the sun never changes. -

This exhibition also examines the cultures of Nashville and fiercely independent Austin, and the complicated, surprising relationships between the two. In doing so, students will gain an understanding of the culture of this movement; who and what influenced it; and how these changes diversified country music’s audience during this time. -
Agastya Nadi Samhita
CHAPTER NO. 1 Sri. Agastya Naadi Samhita A mind - boggling Miracle In today’s world of science, if just from the impression of your thumb somebody accurately tells you, your name, the names of your mother, father, husband/wife, your birth-date, month, age etc. what would you call such prediction? Would you regard it as an amazing divination or as black magic? No, it is neither black magic nor a hand trick. Such prediction, which defies all logic and boggles one’s mind, forms the subject-matter of the Agastya Naadi. Those predictions were visualised at different places by various ancient Sages, with their divine insight and factually noted by their chosen disciples, thousands of years ago, to be handed down from generation to generation. This great work makes us realize the limitations of human sciences. That great compilation predicting the future of all human beings born or yet to be born, eclipses the achievements of all other sciences put together! Naadi is a collective name given to palm-leaf manuscripts dictated by ancient sages predicting the characteristics, family history, as well as the careers of innumerable individuals. The sages (rishis), who dictated those Naadis, were gifted with such a remarkable foresight – that they accurately foretold the entire future of all mankind. Many scholars in different parts of India have in their safekeepings several granthas (volumes) of those ancient palm-leaf manuscripts dictated by the great visualizing souls, alias sages such as Bhrugu, Vasistha, Agastya, Shukra, and other venerable saints. I had the good-fortune to consult Sri. Agastya Naadi predictions. -
