Day 1 : SIEM REAP

BEGINNING OF ASEV SERVICES

At your arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be greeted by your English-speaking guide and transferred to the hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, you will have some free time at leisure to relax at the hotel's swimming pool.

Day 2 : SIEM REAP / Discovery of Angkor site

Breakfast at the hotel.

You will leave the hotel in the early morning aboard a Tuktuk to enter the Ta Prohm, "the Brahma ancestor", and enjoy magical moments in this temple which has been left, in a state of nature, in order to preserve the memory of the discoverers visions who revealed Angkor to the West. Here, stones and roots are embraced by centenarian Kapok trees. Continue you visit with the Preah Khan temple. Enigmatic in many ways, it was built by King Jayavarman VII who dedicated it to his father. Amongst it is the only building with round columns as well as very beautiful devatas sculptures, celestial goddesses.

Lunch at a local restaurant on the site.

In the afternoon, you will discover the great hydraulic city of Angkor Thom. King Jayavarman VII had a laterite bulwark constructed in a square of 3 kilometers on the side, to protect his city from the invaders. Then, you will reach the Bayon, the central temple of this fortied city. The mysterious Bayon presents at rst glance a disorder of blackened stones, then it is an entanglement of some fty faced towers that unfolds as one moves closer. You will then, enjoy having a stroll on the site to reach the various monuments including the Baphuon, one of the largest restoration sites ever undertaken by France, then the Phimeanakas located within the walls of the Royal Palace to nish with the visit of the Elephants' Terrace from where the king and his court attended the games and processions.

At the end of the day you will climb the temple-mountain Pre Rup at sunset. On the top, letting your gaze wander over the vast and magnicent landscape, you will see the hills of Phnom Kulen and Phnom Bok.

Day 3 : SIEM REAP

In the very early morning, you will be transferred to the countryside where you will discover the province of Siem Reap at sunrise in a hot air balloon. (Activate available from December to March only)

Back to the hotel to enjoy your breakfast.

After your breakfast, departure by tuktuk from the hotel to visit the great temple of Angkor Wat, the most prestigious monument of Khmer art and whose dimensions are comparable to the forbidden city of Beijing. Angkor Wat is uniqueness to itself. The temple’s pyramidal plan, combined with the cleverly planned perspectives of the avenues and the basins, is an architectural mastery of composition never equaled. Return to the hotel in the late morning.

Lunch at the hotel.

In the afternoon, you will drive through the rice elds to reach Banteay Srei, "the citadel of women". Located 30 km northeast of Angkor Wat, it is one of the most perfect and endearing architectural creations erected in Cambodia. The buildings, which have preserved very ne decorations carved in pink sandstone, made this temple famous. On the way back, you will discover the secrets of making palm sugar before visiting the temple of Banteay Samre, citadel of the Samre ethnic group. It was built during the Hindu era at the same time as the temple of Angkor Wat.

Dinner with Apsara dance show.

Formerly, exclusively reserved for Khmer kings and their courts, the origin of this captivating dance and these mythical dancers would be on the side of India. This dance may date back more than 1000 years ...

Day 4 : SIEM REAP / Countryside

Breakfast at the hotel.

The morning will be dedicated to craftsmanship with the visit of the Scents of Angkor as part of its botanical garden and productions of spices, incense and weaving workshops. Then, you will discover the Artisans' center of Angkor with sculptors on stone and wood, painters on silk without forgetting the lacquer specialists.

In the late morning, you will have a stroll along the alleys of the old market to buy your memories.

Lunch in a traditional wooden house.

After lunch, you will continue to discover the traditional life and its ancestral villages. You will stop in a family's house that makes Khmer rice noodles (Banchok name). You will continue with a workshop for weaving palm leaves and make boxes or souvenirs like fish or birds. Then continue in oxcart, a thousand-year-old mode of transportation on the dam of an Angkorian reservoir (Baray) to observe the life of Cambodian farmers who grow rice (about 45min).

At sunset you will enjoy unique moments and enjoy a coconut juice in the middle of the rice fields. Back to the Angkor site for an exclusive dinner.

Day 5 : SIEM REAP - TONLE SAP - TONLE MEKONG

Breakfast at the hotel.

We gather in the morning at our welcome lounge in Siem Reap. Relax with a drink as our staff collects your details for the boarding. We bid farewell to the iconic sight of Angkor and travel a short distance to the pier at Tonle Lake. By local boat we transfer to our beautiful ship. While you check in to your prepared staterooms the ship sets sail and your fascinating journey on the Mighty Mekong can begin. You have lunch on board while the vessel gently glides over Tonle Lake. The lake can only be crossed during high water season (approx. from August to mid- November). Let your soul oat and your eyes wander while the boat makes its way across. In the afternoon we serve a high tea at the bar. Enjoy your cruising day on board, relax on your balcony or relish a spa treatment before dinner. Our expert guide will also offer a presentation about the “Geography of the Mekong and Ton Le Sap”. The boat moors at the Ton Le River. Day 6 : KAMPONG CHNANG - KAMPONG CHAM

Wake up early to witness the spectacular scenery at the break of down. Our morning Tai Chi class has the perfect backdrop today. Breakfast buffet is served in the dining hall. We are at , Cambodia’s “water world”, where everything is on sticks balanced on water rich soil. We take a local boat to the shore. With mini buses we head to a rural village nearby and go on a walking tour. Our guides introduce the village specialties – Khmer style pottery and the making of palm sugar. Denitely you should bring some home. Before returning to the boat we explore the local oating villages and wetlands of the region. Back on board lunch is served while the cruise continues with a languid meander along the Ton Le River towards Kampong Tralach.

A Monks’ blessing ceremony on board delivers spirits and wishes for health and prosperity for all. Gliding through leafy swaths of this jungle-like landscape we arrive i n Kampong Tralach. Cacophonous children wave enthusiastically while bringing their livestock for a bath in the meandering river. We will stop at the “Green School” which is supported in part by Heritage Line. Travel to see all this life - which is so much different than ours - by a local ox cart ride. Back on board we sail downstream, passing the conuence of the Ton Le and Mekong Rivers. The boat cruises overnight and you can enjoy a fine dinner in the dining hall. Overnight on board.

Day 7 : KAMPONG CHAM - PHNOM PENH

Breakfast buffet is served in the dining hall. After a sumptuous breakfast we stay on board to understand more about the education of the young Cambodian generation (NGO project). The children join us on board, always excited to show their skills in music and art. Be sure to be bathed in smiles upon your applause. We leave the boat around 09:30am to arrive at the enchanting pre-Angkorian temple of Wat Hanchey (7th century). This small complex sits on a hill top right on the shore with breath-taking views on the Mekong. After some refreshment back on the ship we serve lunch. During the afternoon our staff is keen to show you the variety of traditional Khmer fashion. Watch the riverbank life along the Mekong during our high tea as the ship proceeds to its next stop. We arrive at the Island of Koh Oknha Tey. This spot in the middle of the Mekong owns its fame for the manufacturing of high class silk products. By tuk tuk we explore the island with its workshops and learn how silk is processed from its source, provided by little silkworms, to a nal top quality product made of original Cambodian silk. Dinner on board. After some additional cruising time the boat arrives and docks at the pier of Phnom Penh. Feel free to have your rst exploration by yourself after dinner. Stroll along the river promenade and watch the locals chit-chatting, selling odds and ends or have a drink in one of the numerous bars (kindly inform our crew once you are leaving the ship on your own). Day 8 : PHNOM PENH

Breakfast buffet is served in the dining hall. After breakfast it's time to bid farewell from your luxurious floating home.

Then, you'll be greeted by your english speaking guide. By Tuk-Tuk you will go back in time to discover Phnom Penh, which was nicknamed "The pearl of Southeast Asia" in the past. The colonial period and the French protectorate, which began in 1863, transformed the old village into a modern capital, distinguished by new constructions and the streets and docks layouts, revaluing the architectural, urban and landscape of the city. This excursion in the old French district, allows to discover beautiful architectures with a mixture of Franco and Khmer styles: like the Central Post Office, the old bank of Indochina, the old town hall... Walking tour on Wat Phnom hill. Then, visit the central market, monumental art deco building, if time allows one too. Lunch at ROMDENG restaurant run by former street youth in training. Set in a beautiful colonial building, Romdeng serves a great variety of Cambodian food ranging from almost forgotten recipes from the provinces to contemporary creative Cambodian cuisine. This afternoon, you will discover the Royal Palace and its many buildings. You will also see the main residence of King Sihamoni. Then, you will go to the Silver Pagoda, paved with 500 silver blocks of 1 kg each on the ground.It houses the frescoes inspired by the Ramayana and other treasures of the crown as well as a very beautiful collection of Buddha. Visit of the National Museum which houses, in a building built by a French architect in the Khmer style, very rich collections of Khmer art, especially statuary. Most of the objects come from the Angkor site. Then, you'll be transfer to your hotel.

In the morning, you will drive to SIhanoukville. At your arrival, transfer to the Sihanoukville pier to embark on a boat and sail to the island of Koh Rong Samloem. (30min of navigation) Settle down at the hotel facing the sea.

FORCE MAJEURE :

In case of force majeure, we may have to make modifications to the visits and excursions provided for in the confirmed program, before or after your arrival in Cambodia. Visits, excursions and canceled services will be replaced by other alternative excursions.

OBTAINING THE VISA :

In Cambodia, Visas can be obtained on site, at the expense of the client: $ 31 + 1 identity photo (possible surcharge at land entry points)

Please nevertheless check before your departure that there are no specic policies or regulations to apply following your country of origin.

TIP: From mid-October to the end of April it is HIGHLY advised to take the visa beforehand, in order to avoid losing too much time on site especially for land entry.

Warning: Passport validity needs to exceed 6 months after the return date.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS :

CANCELLATION POLICY :

If the customer decides the total or partial cancellation of his trip, may it be for any reason, he agrees to pay the cancellation costs incurred by ASEV INTERNATIONAL LIMITED agency to its various service providers. Cancellations must be made in writing (email).

If the cancellation occurs :

Between 60 and 31 days before arrival, 35% of the services endered will be charged Between 30 and 22 days before arrival, 50% of the services endered will be charged

Between 21 and 15 days before arrival, 75% of the services endered will be charged Less than 14 days before arrival, 100% of the services endered will be charged

ADDITIONAL CANCELLATION FEES :

- for ights booked by our agency: 100% of the expenses incurred will be invoiced to the customer / group, whatever the date of the cancellation.
