Hoenn • Attained a Beldum from the Devon Corporation. • Took a ship to Castelia City in Unova on the first day. Unova • Took 11 days to reach Unova. • Bagon evolved in a month into Shelgon. • Beldum evolved in 6 months into Metang and then again in 3 further months into into Metagross. • Caught an Eevee in around a year in Castelia City. • Defeated Burgh and gained the Insect Badge. • Caught a Sandshrew and a Maractus in the Desert Resort. • Defeated Elesa in Nimbasa City and gained the Bolt Badge. • Caught a Solosis in Route 5. • Defeated Clay in Driftveil City and gained the Quake Badge. • Caught a Deerling in Route 6. • Caught a Joltik, a Klink, a Ferroseed and a Drilbur in Chargestone Cave. • Defeated Skyla and gained the Jet Badge. • Caught a Tranquill in Route 7. • Caught a Palpitoad and a Croagunk in Icirrus City. • Defeated Brycen and gained the Freeze Badge. • Caught a Liepard in Route 9. • Defeated Iris in Opelucid City and gained a Legend Badge. • Caught a Gligar and a Seviper in Route 11. • Caught a Kakuna, a Cherim, a Roselia, a Sewaddle and a Heracross in Route 12 over 4 days looking for Heracross. • Returned to Mistralton City and took a plane to Celadon City on my 409th day. Kanto • Arrived in Celadon City on the 410th day. • Eevee evolved into Jolteon within a day of getting to Kanto after purchasing a Thunderstone from the mall. 1/47 • Defeated Eirika and received the Rainbow Badge. • Caught a Meowth in Route 7. • Caught a Pidgeotto and a Noctowl in Route 8. • Caught a Gastly and a Cubone in Pokemon Tower. • After a disastrous fishing trip I didn't go fishing again in Pokemon. • Returned to Saffron City and took the Magnet Train to Goldenrod City. Johto • Arrived on the 443rd day. • Took three months after finding a Gastly for it to evolve into Haunter and I traded Haunter with Morty. • Took 20 months overall for Bagon to evolve again. • Took a year to find a Magikarp due to horrendous luck, bad advice and bad weather most of which was spent at the Lake of Rage. • Made a lot of money battling the trainers visiting the lake. • Took 70 days to travel the region, gain each of the 8 badges Kanto • Arrived back in Kanto on 889th day. • Spent 2 and a half months journeying around Kanto and winning the rest of the gym badges. • Journeyed through Victory Road to the Indigo Plateau. Indigo Plateau • Arrived in Celadon City on the 964th day. • Defeated the Elite Four and the Champion Lance on the 965th day. • Spent 327 days at Indigo Plateau facing challengers, training and learning ninjutsu from Koga. Gotta Catch 'Em All 14 April, 12:03 Rustboro City The world disappeared and was replaced by one that was far brighter and warmer but my eyes did not adjust and my body temperature did not rise. "C'mon then dumbo, you jumping or are you going to stand there for the rest of recorded time?" I heard from a loud jovial sounding voice to my immediate left. *Fuck off fatboy I'm trying to concentrate* I responded automatically. It was not my cleverest of retorts but it was automatic and I was extremely disorientated. The voice to my left belonged to a friend of mine named Alfonso and I had spoken in his head without making a sound. Alfonso was large, not just overweight (though he was that) but tall exceeding my own considerable height by some inches. He dressed in red tracksuits that (incorrectly) marked him as an Ace Trainer although he had no Pokémon of his own. "One final go at the factory, you said, for your last day in Rustboro and you're just standing there taking in the beautiful sights of this abandoned industrial estate. I do hope a dirty old Zigzagoon hisses at me like last time we went on one of your little excursions. Jump already." *I'm not a performing monkey* "Firstly at least Mankeys can say their own name and secondly you say Mankey like an absolute dickhead, honestly just because you speak directly into peoples heads it doesn't mean you can take such liberties with the language." I laughed in a slightly strange rasping tone due 2/47 to my vocal chords general lack of use. Alfonso and I had built a friendship almost entirely on the basis of insulting one another. He had been fat and I had been strange, neither of us had gone off when we were 10 years old to be trainers, we each had parents working for the Devon Corporation and neither of us had owned Pokémon until very recently. Around 6 months back I had finally acquired a Pokémon. There was barely enough space for me and my parents in their apartment and neither of them had Pokémon of their own so it had never seemed strange not to have one. On the way home from school I had been half dragged into a Pokémon shelter by the owner and had a Bagon pushed into my arms. Not being one to look a gift Bagon in the mouth I signed the papers shoved under my nose, was handed a Poké Ball for him and then told that the shelter was closing and that I would have to leave. After me and Bagon were accosted by a man dressed as a pirate some days later I surmised from their threats and general jabbering that the Bagon had been an egg belonging to Team Aqua's Archie, that the egg had been stolen from him by Team Magma and that they had come to the conclusion that I must therefore be a Team Magma Admin in disguise. Yesterday I had been jumped by two men and a woman in Team Aqua uniforms while taking a shortcut through an alley to Alfonso's place. While I had managed to escape through a combination of climbing, running and psionically propelled dustbins it had become clear that Rustboro and likely Hoenn as a whole just wasn't safe for me anymore. Looking around at the old scrapyard I knew I'd miss it when I left but decided Alfonso was right, it was time to jump. 14 April, 12:40 Rustboro City, the Devon Corporation "Now I overheard your parents talking and my boy... my boy, those scoundrels!" I glanced at my parents who were standing behind me in Mr. Stone's office. They both looked rather awkward. On my way out of the Devon Corporation Mr. Stone called me on my Pokenav, said something inane about the iron defense of Steel types, laughed and then hung up. 16 April, 7:05 The Sea I woke up from a nightmare of being trapped in a pool with a Sharpedo and turned on the overly bright fluorescent light next to my bed and decided to get up. Mr Stone had proved to be more help than I could possibly have expected and had organised a place for me on a cargo ship carrying Devon goods. The ship was on its way to Unova and I was 2 days in to what I was told would be an 11 day trip. The sailors aboard had been a hospitable bunch and seemed to spend a lot more time having Pokémon battles than doing any work.
