PROGRAMME DAY 1 Castel del Giudice Arrival in Castel del Giudice (IS). At 800 metres above sea level, the village is characterized by a mountainous landscape dotted with apple orchards, particularly in the lower areas. These are a precious resource that provides organic apples, jams, fruit juices and other related products. In such a pleasant context, Albergo Diffuso Borgotufi will welcome participants in ancient rural houses that have been finely renovated, offering an authentic stay. Nine available treks for the season 2020, that start from a minimum of four to a maximum of five days, including two day for the way back journey to Molise: “Into the green of high Molise“; “Molise between nature and history“; “Trekking by Molise lakes“; “Trails of Matese on snowshoes“; “In the heart of Molise“; “Up and down through the mountains of Matese“; “On shepherd’s tracks in Molise“; “On the wool roads of Molise“. In addition, two weekend treks (two walking days and one night): “Trekking by the lake of Occhito“; “Trekking on tracks of Samnites in Molise“. We are waiting you to spend an amazing experience! By means of different approaches, the two towns have been able to provide local development through organic farming that in turn have boosted economic diversification or new forms of territorial aggregation. They have drawn the attention to the neighbouring communities and have stimulated emulation processes.
