Reconstruite à l’ERM de la Maltournée, environ 9000km au compteur (sans garantie), la caisse, fabrication Hotchkiss, est très saine, comme la mécanique. Bâche en vinyle peinte en camouflage FAR, antenne radio, pneus tous-terrains en profil civil en 700X16. Un modèle intéressant dans l’histoire de l’armée française. Pas de papier, recherches en cours M 201 Hotchkiss French jeep, with FAR (rapid action forces) pattern camouflage paint, the last operational Jeeps version in the french army, in the 80’. Without registration card by now, search is ongoing. I 7 000 euros 989 Jeep M38 La Jeep M38 est le modèle de remplacement de la Willys dans l’armée US. Elle est équipée d’une boîte de vitesse renforcée (le point faible de la MB), et de nombreuses améliorations de détail, comme le circuit électrique en 24v blindé. Extérieurement, elle se distingue par les phares de plus gros diamètre, ainsi que le bouchon d’essence extérieur côté gauche. Elle sera rapidement remplacée par la M38A1, dont le capot rehaussé pour accueillir le moteur Hurricane en change complètement la silhouette. Cet exemplaire est encore plus intéressant, car équipé d’un ensemble radio complet ANGRC9 (non fonctionnel), et d’un rare appareil de « climatisation » de la cabine, juché sur le capot devant le chauffeur. Le compteur affiche 51 000miles, (sans garantie), et le pare-choc avant est équipé d’un « Tow-Bar » de remorquage. Un modèle peu courant, dans un état très présentable. Quickly replaced by the different shape M38A1, with higher engine cover to hold Hurricane engine. This M38 is quite more interesting, with a complete ANGRC9 radio set (not in working condition) a rare temperature cab control device , in front of driving post. Speedometer with 51 000 miles (no guaranty) and front bumper with a tow bar. Uncommon model in very good presentation condition. Without registration card by now, search is ongoing. I 8 000 euros 290 990 Jeep CJ5 Le modèle CJ5 est directement issu de la Jeep militaire M38A1, dont elle conserve le capot arrondi caractéristique, recouvrant le moteur Hurricane à culasse « en H ». Apparue en 1954 et destinée au marché civil (CJ pour Civilian Jeep), elle sera néanmoins commandée en quantités significatives par de nombreuses armées dont l’armée US. Cet exemplaire est vraisemblablement passé par l’armée néerlandaise, d’après ses plaques d’utilisation, mais comprend également quelques pièces militaires US. La mécanique a fait l’objet d’une remise en état, les pneus en profil US sont très corrects, la caisse est saine sous quelques couches de peinture, la dernière aux couleurs de l’US Navy. Sellerie et bâches sont neuves, le châssis a été équipé d’un treuil électrique Westinghouse à l’avant, et le pont avant de moyeux débrayables. Une pièce intéressante dans l’histoire des Jeeps militaires. Sans papier, recherches en cours. CJ5 Jeep : designed after military M38A1 jeep, with the same rounded engine top cover, with H shaped bolt Hurricane engine. Issued in 1954 for civilian market ( CJ stand for Civilian Jeep), but order in large numbers for several armies, including US army. From notice plates, this piece comes likely from dutch army but with some US military parts as well. Mechanical parts have been reworked, correct US shape tyres, good frame under some paint rework, last one with US Navy colours. New canvas parts, frame with front Westinghouse electric winch, front axle with adjustable hubs. Interesting piece about military Jeeps. Without registration card, search is ongoing. II 8 000 euros 991 Mule Mécanique Cet engin est dénommé Army Mule, ou Mule mécanique. Adopté en 1957 par l’armée US, elle est destinée au transport de munitions, armes ou approvisionnement divers en tous-terrains. Cette version, le M274A4, est équipée d’un moteur bicylindre horizontal à refroidissement à air à l’arrière sous la plateforme. Elle résulte de la modification des exemplaires produits par Willys, dont les moteurs 4 cylindres ont été remplacés par le nouveau modèle bicylindre. La seule suspension est réalisée par les pneus basse pression. Les quatre roues sont motrices en permanence, et la direction peut agir sur les roues avant, ou sur les quatre si nécessaire. Sa capacité de transport est de 500 kg en tous-terrains, plus le chauffeur. 11 240 exemplaires ont été produits, dont plus de 5000 ont été détruits ou perdus au Vietnam. Willys en a fabriqué près de 2000, de 1962 à 1964. Celui-ci est dans un état proche du neuf, entièrement reconditionné. Construit à partir de 1950, il supplantera le nouveau GMC à partir du milieu des années 60, et restera dans l’US Army jusque dans les années 90. Il est encore utilisé par de nombreuses armées au monde. Il sera acheté également par l’armée espagnole, qui l’équipe de moteurs diesel de fabrication locale. Cet exemplaire est en état impeccable, affichant environ 8500 KM au compteur (sans garantie). La sellerie de cabine en simili est en très bon état, ainsi que la bâche de caisse et les bancs arrière. Les roues arrière sont en monte simple, tous les pneus sont en bon état. Une pièce caractéristique de l’armée US dans les années 60 et 70 dans un très bon état. Carte grise espagnole. I 5 000 euros 993 Dodge M37 Véhicule 4X4 Dodge type M37. Ces engins ont été adoptés et construits à partir de 1951, pour remplacer les Dodge 4X4 de la série WC utilisés depuis la seconde guerre mondiale par l’US Army. Le M37 est la version pick-up d’une famille comptant de nombreuses versions, dont plus de 115 000 exemplaires seront produits jusqu’en 1968. Ils seront livrés à de nombreux pays de la sphère d’influence des Etats-Unis, dont l’Espagne, qui les reconditionnera en diesel, comme cet exemplaire, équipé d’un moteur Hispano 6 cylindres. La caisse est en excellent état, aux couleurs de l’US Army, équipée de bancs et couverte d’une bâche neuve, le lot de bord est fixé sur la ridelle arrière. La sellerie avant en simili est en bon état, les instruments de bord sont d’origine espagnole, le compteur affiche environ 30 000km (sans garantie).

You know, 4.7mm is not a Nato-Standard as 7.62 or 5.56. Therefore the G36 pattern with 5.56 was followed, since the greater calibers like 7.62 are not used so often any more with assault rifles - because of the increased weight. Of course another reason why the G11 didn't make it into production was a cost thing. Were there any serious possibilities to sell that weapon? I don't think so, and since the German military budget gets smaller and smaller, they couldn't afford it then. It is an improved version of the PA3-DM, the former Argentine standard submachinegun. The sliding stock is the same as used on the US M-3A1 "Grease Gun." There were formerly fixed stock and sliding stock models (the Mod 1 and Mod 2), but the fixed stock version was quickly dropped and is almost never seen. The FMK-3 can fire NATO rifle grenades, but is very heavy. There is another version known as the FMK-5; this version fires only on semiautomatic and is for sale to police and civilian security forces.
