DIRECTORS, SUPERVISORS AND SENIOR MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS Mr. WANG Tianyu, aged 49, was appointed as an executive Director of the Bank in February 2012 and appointed as the chairman of the Bank in March 2011, being primarily responsible for the overall operations and strategic management of the Bank. In addition, Mr. WANG served as the president of the Bank from September 2005 to December 2011 and has served as the chairman of Zhongmu Zhengyin County Bank Co., Ltd. (中牟鄭銀村鎮銀行股份有限公司) (“Zhongmu County Bank”) since May 2012. Mr. WANG has over 22 years of experience in banking business operations and management. He joined the Bank in August 1996 and had successively served as the president of Jingwu Road sub-branch and the vice president of the Bank from August 1996 to September 2005. Prior to that, Mr. WANG had served as the deputy director of Henan Province Yugong Urban Credit Cooperatives (河 南省豫工城市信用社) from May 1993 to May 1996. Mr. WANG graduated from Henen Institute of Finance and Economics (河南財經學院) (Henan, China) in June 1988, majoring in public finance, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics. He obtained a master’s degree in business administration from National University of Singapore (Singapore) in June 2006 and an executive master’s degree in business administration from Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) in January 2015. He has been attending a program of advanced economics course for further studies (高級經濟學課程進修班) at School of Economics of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Hubei, China) since July 2015. He has been a senior accountant accredited by the People’s Government of Henan Province since December 1998. In addition, Mr. WANG has been a member of the 12th Congress of the People’s Congress of Henan Province (第十二屆河南省人 民代表大會) since January 2013 and was awarded the title of “National Model Worker” (全國勞動模範) in April 2015. Mr. SHEN Xueqing, aged 50, was appointed as an executive Director of the Bank in February 2012 and appointed as the president of the Bank in December 2011. He is primarily responsible for the daily operations and management of the Bank. Mr. SHEN has over 19 years of experience in banking business operations and management. He joined the Bank in December 2011. Prior to joining the Bank, he held a number of positions in Guangdong Development Bank Co., Ltd. (廣東發展銀行股份有限公司) (currently known as China Guangfa Bank Co., Ltd., 廣發銀行股份有限公司) from June 1996 to November 2011. He had served successively as the deputy manager and the manager of general office, the director of operations department and the assistant to sub-branch president of Huayuan Road sub-branch, Zhengzhou branch from June 1996 to October 2000, the assistant to sub-branch president, the vice president and the president of Dongming Road sub-branch, Zhengzhou branch from October 2000 to July 2004, the general manager of No.3 corporate banking department and the general manager of general office of Zhengzhou branch from July 2004 to April 2006, the president of Anyang sub-branch from April 2006 to September 2009, and the vice president of Changsha branch from October 2009 to November 2011. Based on the mixed complementarity problem model of gas markets with nodes in Henan Province, China, as an example, this paper applies numerical modeling to simulate the efects of social welfare and equilibrium prices on nodes in two scenarios: pipeline integration and pipeline separation. The fndings reveal the following: (1) Pipeline separation yields greater overall social welfare than pipeline integration, with the welfare shifting from gas producers to consumption markets. (2) Pipeline separation lowers the equilibrium consumption prices by driving competition among gas supply sources. (3) Pipeline separation will increase the contribution of natural gas to primary energy.     Lauren Ledin Anyang, China Field School 2012 Early this summer, I participated in a six-week field school in China. It was a combination of training in field survey and excavation, conducting experimental archaeology, and travel to relevant archaeological sites. The first week we stayed in Beijing. During a visit to the National Museum of China we saw artifacts from the time period which we were focusing on-- the Late Shang period. This proved to be very helpful in giving us a background of information and examples of artifacts dated earlier and later than the Late Shang period. Zhoukoudian, the site of the Peking man, was our next stop in Beijing Province. Later in the week, we attended an archaeological conference and were able to join in meeting and honoring Zheng Zhenxiang, the team leader of Fu Hao's tomb excavation in Anyang. We also managed to fit in a tour of The Forbidden City and a visit to the Great Wall. Other places we traveled to included Xi’an and the surrounding areas where we saw the Terracotta Army in Lishan, the Xi’an city wall, and also the beautiful mixing of cultures at the Xi’an Mosque. Within Henan Province we ventured to a Sanmenxia museum highlighting the Western Zhou State of Guo, to the Taihang Mountains in search of sandstone sources used as abrasives in jade carving, and to the Neolithic site of Xiao Dong Nan Xue Yi Zhi. Anyang City itself is home to the National Museum of Chinese Writing, the Yin Ruins, and the Royal Cemetery, all of which we visited.

Agriculture, industry, and living are considered as the direct water consumption. This paper employs the concept of marginal product value to estimate the water consumption marginal benefits in Henan Province. We use data on agri- cultural water consumption, industrial water consumption, and domestic water consumption of 18 cities in Henan Province surveyed from 2006 to 2013 and considered the Cobb–Douglas production function. The results showed that, during the study period, except for the marginal benefit of agricul- ture in high developed area, the industrial and domestic water use increased, and the industrial and domestic water use benefits were much higher than agricultural. At the same time, the benefit of the developed area was higher than the developing area. The benefits of agricultural water consumption and industrial water consumption in high developed area have made great improvements gradually, while benefits in low developed area have made small changes; but the benefits of domestic water con- sumption presented the opposite trend.

The results showed that the temporal variation of the TCCI had a “double peak” type (monthly variation), and an overall comfort improvement trend (interannual variation). The change of tourism climate comfort days was similar to the change of the index, especially in the months with a low comfort level. In space, the distribution of the TCCI gradually increased from northeast to southwest, and the area with a high comfort level also increased over time. Meanwhile, it also showed the spatial distribution of months with a low comfort level, which provides reliable information for tourists to use when choosing tourist destinations across all periods of the year. The TCCI was classified by hierarchical classification, and principal components were extracted to explore the main climate factors controlling different types of TCCIs and the relationship between them, and Citation: Zhao, J.; Wang, S. large-scale atmospheric–oceanic variability. Accepted 23 July, 2012 Nineteen alfalfa varieties of seven different fall dormancy (FD) classes (2 to 8) over three years in five different eco-agricultural areas with mild climates in Henan Province of China was studied. The results showed that almost all of the varieties exhibited nearly perfect survival rates, while the variety ‘Siriver’ had a slightly lower survival rate of 98.5%. The variety ‘WL414’ (FD 6) produced the greatest average dry matter (DM) yield across the regions, while the lowest yield was found in ‘Golden Empress’ (FD 2). In addition, the total dry matter (DM) yields of the three years were affected by location and variety and there was significant location × variety interaction. The FD classes and total DM yields were significantly correlated, indicating that FD class should be used as one of the main criterion for alfalfa variety improvement or introduction of new varieties into a temperate region, such as Central China. Beside, special attention should also be paid to the selection of varieties suitable to local conditions because other factors have important influence on DM yields, including the characteristics of a varieties and environmental conditions.

Exploring the relationship between cultivated land change and economic development has become a hot issue for scholars.in this paper,The methods of regression analysis, land use elastic coefficient method, location entropy are used to empirically describe the relationship between cultivated land change and economic development.The results show: Since the 20th century, the change of cultivated land area has experienced three distinct stages of change, showing a process of recovery, decline, and steady evolution in Henan Province. The per capita cultivated land area is characterized by an upward trend, and the per capita cultivated land area is increasing year by year. In general, the intensive use of cultivated land in Henan Province is still not high, but the momentum of a sharp decline in cultivated land is basically controlled.
