03/18/2013 WAB Virtual Job Fair Each quarter the WAB allows us to participate in an on-line job fair. We produce an ad that runs a couple weeks prior to the job fair. During the week of the job fair (3/18-22), we were prepared to receive job fair applications via e-mail. Visitors of the job fair can also email us directly with questions about the station or about jobs in general. We will do this again in May, August and November. 1 full point EEO credit for all four.
04/10/2013 WWCC Career Fair On April 10th, 2013, Joyce Cox Traffic Director, participated in the Western Wyoming Community College Spring Career Fair. Activity included manning a booth at the fair, dicussing and distributing Careers in Broadcasting information packets to fair participants and accepting applications.
04/11/2013 Career Day Our IT, News Director and Disc Jockey, Erick Pauley, visited 4th Graders at Truman Elementary School where he spoke with students on a career in radio broadcasting. There were three sessions of students and there was an informational question answer period following the presentation.
