    INTRODUCTION Matt Mead was sworn in as Wyoming's 32nd Governor on January 3, 2011. Born in Jackson, Wyoming, Governor Mead was raised on the family ranch in Teton County. He has a law degree from the University of Wyoming and a BA degree from Trinity University in San Antonio. The Governor has served as a county and federal prosecutor, practiced in a private firm, and served as United States Attorney for Wyoming from October 2001 to June 2007. After he stepped down as U.S. Attorney, Matt and his wife Carol, the First Lady, returned full time to operating their farming and ranching business in southeast Wyoming. Since taking office, the Governor has put a focus on economic growth, a state energy strategy, consolidation of government services, supporting local government and enhancing infrastructure, and creating additional access to high-speed broadband. Governor Mead continues to travel to communities around the state to hear from residents in the places where they live and work. He maintains an open door policy in his office at the Capitol Building. Representing the interests of the state, the Governor also serves in regional and national leadership roles. He serves on the Council of Governors and the Natural Resources Committee of the National Governors Association. He is also co-chair of the State and Federal Sage Grouse Task Force, which brings together federal officials and representatives of 11 western states for a regional conservation effort. Matt and Carol have been married 23 years. Radio: We want to do the radio spots just like we did last year. Those ads cost 2600.00. We will draw a person/vendor from the vendors who sign up for the entire market and they will do the radio ad for the week. The radio ads will be on all nine stations (KROE, KZWY, KWYO, KLQQ, OLDIES, MAGIC, EDGE, ESPN, KYTI) July3 through October 3, 2015 Tickers or other signage: Peg will check with the Mill Inn to see if we can have an ad on their sign. Public Pulse: Bonnie and Donald will do a spot on Public Pulse closer to market time. New Business John Heynemen/Plank Stewardship- They used to fund the Ucross Foundation. Now they want to support agriculture/land. People who are going to take care of the land need support. Ranch financial workshops are the first focus. Raymond Plank is a very forward thinking visionary who is getting on, he’s 93. The next project is High Plains Ranch Practicum, an inexpensive way to learn about ranching through the program.

In OWNERSHIP, that is -- In a truly amazing development, eleven of the largest U.S. radio groups are taking an ownership position in Digital Audio Broadcasting developer USA Digital Radio. The USADR consortium began in the early 1990s with backing from CBS, Group W and Gar-- The surviving owner is CBS -- and M Street got very curious when we spotted an FTC filing a couple of weeks ago about CBS' ownership of USADR. Now the cat's out of the bag and it's a HUGE story (and one that Lucent may not love to hear). With one fell swoop, USA Digital guarantees itself backing from twelve of the country's biggest radio groups, with combined revenue of over $5 billion. Here are the eleven newest broadcast owners of USADR, listed alphabetically: Chancellor, Citadel, Clear Channel, Cox, Cumulus Media, Emmis, Entercom, Heftel, Jacor, Radio One and Sinclair. A new non -broadcast investor is Chase Capital Partners. USA Digital is still developing its In -Band On- Channel systems for AM and FM DAB. But if you're Lucent, which just spun off a separate company last year to join the DAB Derby -- this announcement isn't good news. We'll follow the story for you this year, week by week.
