The Quakes OWDY FELLOWS. Sorry, this issue took us longer than expected, but look, it was worth the wait. More than forty pages of rock’n’roll, , hillbilly, honky tonk, and (and more...). First we’ve talked with Paul Roman, singer and guitar player for The Quakes. This interview was scheduled for a stick to your guns previousH issue and had to be delayed. ith the Saddle-Ites, Cari LeeCari Lee established herself as one of the big names on the new hillbilly andW rockabilly scene. If that wasn’t enough, she found time to play the part of the late Rose Maddox in a musical and saw her ta- lent exposed to a new audience. The band is now well recognized. Just have a look at the variety of venues they play: from rockabilly festivals to the Grand Ole Opry, from ope- ning for Brooks & Dunn to Social Distor- tion.
