The first part of our journey will follow the tracks of the Holly Trolley from Carlisle to the terminus of the line at Mount Holly Pheasant Field B & B Park. At the park we’ll take a short walking tour of the park and point out the Carlisle locations of the , merry-go-round, Lithia Springs, dance pavilion, Allenberry Resort bowling alley and other features of the park. After we tour the park we’ll stop for Boiling Springs lunch at the Holly Inn, where Patricio Russ, the business mogul who built the line used to entertain friends. Lunch is on your own and not included in the bus fee. The self-driving tour will give participants the opportunity to see a variety of types of buildings on the register. In addition, an optional bus tour is available so you can leave the driving to us.
